~Persephone's POV~

We arrived at the hospital and walked to the front desk. A woman dressed in blue was typing away on her computer. The woman turned to us, "Good afternoon! Welcome to Oregon Health & Science University Hospital, can I help you with anything?"

Jeanette smiled back, "We're looking for my friend's brother."

Jeanette told the woman his name. In return, the woman told us the floor and room number to find him.

"Fourth floor, room 317," Jeanette repeated back to me.

We took the elevator to the fourth floor and found the room. Jean was about to knock when I took a step back.

"What's wrong?"

My hands started to shake, "I can't go in."

Jeanette frowned, "Why not?"

"What if my parents are in there?" I said, my voice quivering more with every word.

Jeanette took my hands in hers and said, "Seph, it's been over seven years since you've interacted with your parents, maybe they've changed."

I looked Jean in the eyes, "But what if they haven't?"

"So what? You're here to see your brother, not your parents."

I smiled and hugged Jean. After our hug, Jean knocked on the door. A faint voice from inside said, "Come in."

We walked in and I saw no signs of my parents, so we sat down and started to talk. I caught up with my brother. I was so relieved to see that Tristan was okay.

Hiya!

I know this chapter is short and it took forever, but the next chapter will make up for it. I'm still open to doing small writing projects on the side of this, so message me if you're interested.

Until next time, my lovelies!
