When Hermione woke up, Draco was seating on a chair beside her bed. He was smiling at her. “Good Morning!” Draco said with lots of energy.
“So, what are you doing here? I mean, it’s too early for you to be here.” Hermione said.
“Well, I was too excited about what your answer would be. I’m sure you’ve decided by now.” Draco muttered.
“W-Well… Draco, I-I.…I’m sorry but-” Hermione paused.
Draco frowned and his eyes began to become watery.
“-my answer is……… YES!” Hermione shouted.
Hermione was smiling but Draco was crying.
“Draco? Why are you crying?” Hermione asked.
“You’re so mean! I thought you were going to say no that’s why I almost cried and when I heard you say yes, I started to cry. Tears of JOY, that is.” Draco answered.
“Oh… I’m so sorry Draco.” Hermione apologized.
“It’s alright. Come here.” Draco said.
When Hermione got closer, Draco pulled her arm and hugged her tightly along with a kiss on her cheek.
“You won’t regret being my girlfriend. I promise.” Draco muttered.
“I hope so.” Hermione said.

“Let’s go… we’ll be late for class…” Draco said.
“Alright.” Hermione answered.
Draco grabbed Hermione’s hand. As they walked through the corridors, they were holding hands and all eyes were on them.
“DRACO??! Why are you with that ugly mudblood???!!” Pansy wailed.
“Watch your mouth Pansy… You better treat Hermione-”
“Hermione? So now you call her by her first name??!” Pansy interrupted.
“What is it to you anyway? She’s the girl I love… so if aren’t okay with that… Forget our friendship!” Draco shouted.
“Pansy Parkinson was the girl who’s always following Draco around like a dog. She was furious when she heard that I was Draco’s girlfriend.” Hermione thought to herself.
Pansy looked at Hermione as if she wanted to kill her. Pansy didn’t know what to do and left them alone.
“Oh no! Not another problem…” Hermione said.
“Hermione? Come here for a moment…” Harry muttered.
“Sure.” Hermione replied.
“Hermione, what is that jerk Malfoy saying? You’re the girl he loves?? I mean… who the heck would believe that?” Harry whispered.
“It’s true Harry… Draco is… Well, he’s my b-boyfriend now…” Hermione whispered.
“WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT??????!” Ron shouted.
“Ronald, would you please keep quiet?” Hermione whispered.
“B-But… what are you saying? Malfoy? Your b-boyfriend? That’s completely impossible!” Ron wailed.
“It’s not impossible Ronald. I mean, I just said that it’s true, didn’t I?” Hermione said.
“Stop acting like children! What’s wrong with me having a boyfriend anyway?” Hermione shouted.
“There’s nothing wrong with you having a boyfriend-” Harry said.
“But with Malfoy? I mean, he’s a fowl, loathsome, filthy little cockroach!” Ron continued.
“He’ll just hurt you!” Harry shouted.
Silence struck the room. Hermione was planning to go back to her room.
“Why can’t you just accept that I love him? Just once… let me be happy…” Hermione said with a sad face before leaving.
Harry grabbed Hermione’s hand to stop her.
“Alright. We won’t do anything to make you sad anymore. We permit you to have a relationship with Malfoy. Just go back to your old self.” Harry said.
“B-But Harry!!” Ron shouted.
“But what Ron?”
“Just let Hermione be happy. Alright?” Harry said.
“Fine. Humph.” Ron muttered.
“Really?” Hermione rushed to Ron and Harry and hugged them.
They all went back to their rooms to rest.
