Chapter Twelve: Bath Time!

CHAPTER TWELVE

"Bakugo-kun, I didn't fail!"

Y/N held up her maths paper, proudly showing off that she had got more than half the questions correct. She jumped up and down slightly on her heels showing how happy she was to achieve such grade in the dreaded subject.

Bakugo looked at the sloppily written B with a red circle engulfing it. He felt slightly proud that he was able to help her but really smug that he had gotten the top mark in his class.

"That's because I was the one who tutored you." He stood up from his seat and  rolled his eyes. He picked up his own graded maths paper making sure the girl saw his grade.

Y/N laughed his fake act of being uninterested, he was definitely acting prideful over his tutoring and over his high grade.

"You're such a nerd."

Kirishima and Kaminari looked over with wide eyes, scared that the girl was going to be a victim of his wrath. What the two friends didn't know what that over internship week the aggressive boy and the bubbly girl had formed quite a close bond.

"You're just jealous because I'm better and you're stupid at maths." He shoved his paper in his bag with the scoff of an elementary school insult. 

Bakugo could've thrown a harsher remark but he didn't want to, it was fun to have someone who would take his insults not so seriously.

"Y/N! We're going to the changing rooms!" Mina shouted dashing out the classroom, to which Y/N nodded.

The rest of the students following behind her as they went to get ready for today's sparring lesson outside - the sun was out today so the students wanted to take advantage of that.

"No running in the corridors Ashido-san!" Iida followed the pink haired girl out the door with his signature arm movements, Midoriya and Todoroki not far behind him.

"Anyway, thanks for tutoring me!" Y/N exclaimed and put her paper in her own school bag walking away from the ash blonde.

"Yeah, whatever." Bakugo watched the girl walk away with a small wave as a departure, his eyes trailed her as she walked out the classroom with Uraraka and Tsu.

It was strange.

Lately, she was always on his mind.

Ever since she had stepped foot into UA a few months back he had started to take a interest in her, he didn't know why his curiosity took over him but he wanted to know more.

After visiting the bookstore and reading the book for a few days he was left with some questions unanswered. Bakugo wanted to know more about her faith.

Bakugo was so angry at himself for giving into such a stupid feeling.  As soon as he realised that he was taking a small liking he wanted to stop himself but he was too far deep now, he knew he had finally accepted her just like he had done with Kirishima.
