Manual waved with a gentle smile at the passersby fans that were calling for his attention. Y/N watched her mentor absorb the attention, she found him to be a very good mentor and teacher.
Mizushima thought likewise about his intern — he saw massive potential in the young girl. The Pro Hero really believed that Y/N would be a great hero one day, he was delighted to teach her about hero and agency work as well training her with hands-on experience.
Y/N had really grown in strength and had gained a lot of knowledge on her quirk, Manual had given her admirable advice on the matter and Y/N was grateful for having such a generous or helpful mentor.
And being so, the water Pro Hero had called his hardworking intern back this week for another round of hero training. Y/N happily accepted the offer, she felt so much more confident as a hero since she had been working and gaining so much experience with Manual and his agency.
"Hm, it seems to be a quiet day." Y/N commented with a sigh, bored out of her mind with the uneventful patrol.
"You should be scared of a quiet day," Mizushima laughed, "Like the saying goes; the calm before the storm."
"I hope so, I haven't caught one villain today! I need to beat Bakugo's villain count!" Y/N remembered the small rivalry she had with the ash blonde on their train ride together this morning.
"I really do love your courageous attitude, Aqua." Her mentor chuckled as they carried on walking through the streets of Hosu City.
Just as he was about to ask what Bakugo's oh-so impressive villain count for today, he was not given that chance by his phone ringing.
"Hello?" Manual answered with a small smile that quickly dissolved. "Okay, I'll be right over there." The Pro Hero nodded, a serious aura taking over his previous calm one.
"What happened?" Y/N asked, eager to know what had caused the sudden mood change.
"There's a villain attack in Tokyo. We need to go in as back up." Manual informed, shoving his phone in his pocket.
"A villain attack in Tokyo?" She murmured to herself.
That's where Bakugo is. — A gut feeling took over her, as her mind stopped thinking about everything but Katsuki.
Please don't be anything bad. — Y/N felt sick from the fear growing inside her stomach.
When the hell did I start worrying about him? — She mentally shunned at herself for being so worried.
