What happened in the last few minutes was a blur.

A few other villains had come to help the one both of the young heroes were fighting. With a powerful wind quirk one of the bad guys destroyed the building, causing it to collapse.

As the building Y/N and Bakugo were standing next to collapsed from the fatal quirk attack,  Y/N remembered that she had pushed Bakugo out of danger but the boy was too stubborn to leave her behind.

That was all she could remember before she felt the weight of rough and heavy debris fall on top of her.

Y/N groaned at the pain of her throbbing head. Every muscle in her body felt that they were too tired to move, she could barely move her arms to rub her eyes that were coated with a curtain of blur.

The air was thick making it hard to breathe, smoke and dust were mixed together from the fall of heavy debris, trying to move her legs to get up, Y/N hissed in pain at the movement.

"Shit," she whispered through her teeth. Laying down face forward on the floor, she looked over her shoulder to check her lower body.

An unsettling fear set in her mind seeing her lower half, till this moment she had felt no pain at all. Maybe it was the fearful adrenaline that had numbed her pain but what if...What if she couldn't feel her legs because they were...?

No, they couldn't be.

"No, no, no!" Y/N didn't want to give into her negative thoughts. "I'll be okay, InshAllah everything will be okay." She tried to reassure herself and turned forward with closed eyes, trying to keep the tears from falling.

But what was in front of her was a much more heartbreaking sight. Y/N's eyes widened at the sight of it, making her forget her own troubles.

Each pounding beat of her heart echoed in her ears, her head feeling heavy with the worrisome questions — Was he...?

"No, please. Allah, no." Mutters of denial left her with heavy breaths, "Bakugo..."

"Bakugo!" She cried out, desperate to get his attention.
The hero lay on his back, his eyes shut and blonde brows not holding their signature frown, instead his features were resting calmly.

Katsuki's pale face was scattered with small cuts and bruises, as well as his arms. The lower half of his body was completely submerged in rubble. Katsuki wasn't far from her, how had she not noticed him before?

"Bakugo!"

"Wake up!"

"Bakugo!"

"Come on, wake up!"

"Bakugo, please!" Her fingers curled into fists as she hit them onto the rubble in distress — He's not dead. He can't be dead. Katsuki is not dead.
