The cool breeze of the night air was calming, the streets of Tokyo were dimly lit with the street lights but the city was still buzzing with life.

The noise of engines was a prominent feature in the daytime as well as the tight knitted crowds of people seemed to have died down which was nice. Because,   just maybe the two could have a quiet trip back home sat down in a seat rather than standing on the train, especially after a day like this.

"Am I villain to you?"

Those were the first words Y/N had spoken since they had encountered the little girl. Bakugo's slanted eyes grew  from the sudden question, his mouth slightly agape and his mind scouting to find the right words to reply with.

"Where the hell did that come from?" But he knew the answer very well.

"No matter how hard I try to be a good person some people will never accept me as a hero, maybe ever."

"Who cares about their fucking approval? You're a hero wether they damn like it or not."

If anything, Y/N was the embodiment of a good person and Bakugo was annoyed that she couldn't see that, hell if he was in her position he didn't know if he could be as a patient as her.

"And what the hell  happened to not taking shit from anyone?"

It was depressing that Y/N had to always prove she wasn't a villain, she had to always prove to the world that she wasn't a bad person - even if the world pushed her around she was always kind which annoyed him because that meant she would be used like a doormat.

Y/N laughed at that. "I can't exactly beat up a six year old."
Bakugo smiled, proud that he had finally broke her out of her despair.

"But that doesn't matter, I'll keep helping people. I'll do my best even if it means helping those who hate me."

"Why the hell would you want to help people who hate you?" He asked.

"Because that's what a hero would do. " She turned with a small smile on her face. It was also what a good Muslim would do - Islam taught them to always be patient and tolerant to whatever people would say - even if it hurt.

If the ignorant did address them Islam taught them to stay in peace, and walk away in kindness.

So,  that's why Y/N decided to be hero. She wanted to help anyone and everyone, she wanted people to see her and her faith as she did - a kind and peaceful religion.

Y/N looked different in that moment- in this exact  moment her smile made Bakugo  lips tug into a lopsided one. Bakugo cursed at himself for giving in and letting his guard down but he couldn't really control his body when he saw the small crinkles in her eyes when she smiled at him like that.
