Chapter 15: The Muffin Man!

*Alice's/Felicity's POV*

Willow, Zero and I flew Shrek and the others to Drury Lane with Gingy directing us to where it is while he was on Willow's shoulder.

Once we reached a building in Drury Lane, we set everyone down on the ground before we let our own feet touch the ground ourselves.

Gingy jumped onto Shrek's shoulder and told us this was the building The Muffin Man lives.

Shrek knocked on the door a couple of times and we waited until a man wearing glasses and dressed in a chefs outfit answered the door with open arms. "Gingy!"

"Fire up the ovens, Muffin Man! We've got a big order to fill!" Gingy yelled.

While we waited for The Muffin Man to finish, he gave us a match of chocolate chip muffins to munch on. Truth be told, Willow and I were in muffin heaven after just taking one bite of our muffins!

Just as we finished eating the muffins The Muffin Man gave us, our order was completed.

As to how we know that...

Well, I don't suppose the evil laugh coming from it gives us a hint, does it?

"It's...alive!" Gingy yelled.

I tilted my head up and my eyes went wide. "It's huge!"

Never in my entire existence would I ever see the tallest Gingerbread Man ever made by none other than The Muffin Man.

Shrek turned Donkey and started giving orders. "Donkey, you take Pinocchio, Puss, and the others. I'll climb up The Gingerbread Man with Gingy and direct it to the castle."

Willow smirked. "Who said anything about you climbing it, when you have three people here who can just fly you to The Gingerbread Man's shoulder instead?"

Shrek chuckled. "Don't suppose you want to stand on The Gingerbread Man's shoulders as well, do you, Willow?"

Willow grinned and nodded. "Yep! I'll take Gingy. Alice, you and Zero toke Shrek and put him on the giant cookie's shoulder."

Zero and I did a mock solute. "Yes, ma'am!"

Willow held her hand out for Gingy to jump on and flew the both of us up to The Gingerbread Man's face. She smiled and waved at him before landing on his left shoulder. Zero and I held Shrek and flew him up to The Gingerbread Man's right shoulder.

Once Puss In Boots, Pinocchio, and the others climbed onto Donkey's back, Donkey charged forward full speed ahead with Zero and I flying above, making sure there was no one in the way of the cookies path.

Shrek and Willow held onto both sides of The Gingerbread Man's head, and Shrek ordered the him to move forward. "Go! The castle is this way!"

The Gingerbread Man stomped away from Drury Lane and down towards the town, knocking down some trees along the way. Shrek and Gingy were giving it directions so that it wouldn't accidentally destroy any houses or buildings.

People started screaming as soon as they looked up to see the giant Gingerbread Man heading towards them.

"Everyone, please move away! We don't want you to get hurt!" I yelled while flying around them.

"Go, baby, go!" Gingy encouraged the giant cookie.

Willow pointed to Fairy Godmother's advertisement. "Smash that thing to pieces, you giant walking Gingy replica of deliciousness!" He sliced his right arm straight through the advertisement, smashing it to pieces.

"Yeah!" Willow cheered. "Gingerbread cookies are awesome!"

Gingy giggled. "Aren't they?"

Shrek pointed to the castle up ahead. "There it is, Mongo! To the castle!"

While Mongo the giant Gingerbread Man stomped his way towards the castle, Willow turned to Shrek. "Mongo?"

Shrek nodded. "Yep, that's right! Might as well give him a real name instead of calling him 'giant cookie'!"

Willow shook her head and laughed. "Fair play!"

Suddenly, Mongo changed directions and went for the giant Farbucks cup that was attached to the roof of the building instead. He picked it up and put it to his mouth as if he was drinking it.

"No, you great stupid pastry! Come on!" Shrek yelled at the cookie.

Willow face palmed and shook her head. "No, no, Mongo! You can't drink that! It's not even real, damn it!"

Mongo shook the Farbucks giant cup and threw it on the floor once he realised there's nothing in there and growled angrily.

"Hey, Mongo, follow the flying fairies!" Zero yelled as he flew around Mongo's head, trying to get Mongo to turn around before flying next to me again.

"Here! Mongo! Down here! Look at the pony!" Donkey yelled.

Mongo finally noticed the both of us flying and looked down to see Donkey with the others on his back. He grinned and started stomping after us with his arms wide open.

"That's right! Follow the pretty pony!" Donkey yelled up to him before turning round and making a run for it. "The pretty pony wants to play at the castle!"

"Come on, big guy! You can do it!" Willow encouraged him. "Follow the sparkly fairies!"

"Pretty pony." Mongo said. "Sparkly fairies."

We've still got a ways to go until we reach the castle.

I just hope all of us make it there on time before it's too late!
