Stupid.
Foolish. It was a foolish idea to go to that concert. What did she expect? Everything to be like it was, in the past? Him to be like he was, in the that house?

God, Rubina was so happy, when she had won the BB14 trophy. Her family, her hubby, her well wishers were all proud of her. Life was beautiful and exciting again. She was showered with praises and more opportunities than before, from various places. She got everything. She was happy. So happy.

Then why? What has changed in these three years? What else does she truly want?

A lot has changed. She just wished, some things had remained the same.

As soon as Rubina has returned from the concert, she went straight to her room. Made a call to her manager and asked her to fill Rubina's entire schedule with whatever she desired. Then, ended the call without saying another word. Threw the phone on her bed and finally sat down.

With both hands, she held her own head and tried her best to calm her restless nerves.
That song was now stuck in her head, playing the first few lines in a constant loop.
Those treacherous tears welled up again in her eyes. Shutting them tightly Rubina pulled at her own hair, helplessly.

Alone, in her room, away from everyone's prying eyes, Rubina finally let herself be a little vulnerable.

"Please God, please. Don't let me break, again," - Rubina prayed to whichever deity bothered to listen to her silent pleas, at the moment.

Then abruptly she got off the bed. Nothing's working. Only Yoga can now calm her down or maybe a bath.

"Tomorrow's a new day. I'll will be back to business, again " Rubina declared to the empty room, in a shaky voice. Then nodded to herself and looked at the mirror, situated beside her bed.
Seeing her own reflection, Rubina wiped her tears from her pale cheeks, composed herself and gave a small smile.

People were running around the set.
The generator has stopped working, therefore, halting the shoot for more than two hours. "Like headless chickens" - Rubina thought, mildly irritated as she closed her trailer door, again. Inside, the cool air of the A.C helped her to relax a bit.

She is no diva. Throwing tantrums isn't really her style. She understands the work force it requires, the collective energy, to make a show the TRP leader. But, it has been more than two hours and there's still no sign of that damn generator.

Today, she's been given 16 pages worth of dialogues. Above that, she has to shoot a rather intense scene later in the day. Something to do with her character's past.
The director have said, "it would be a real tearjerker!" Rubina had barely managed to not roll her eyes at him.

Showbiz industry is a great pickle. Surviving here is not everyone's cup of tea. Come to think of it, no industry is fair. Corporate, sport, music - not a single one is safe.

Music.

Even a simple mention of that word, brings back countless memories. Brings back certain songs, that have different meanings to her now.
Brings back a certain intoxicating voice, that she can't ever forget even if she tried to. God knows, she has tried hard.

But, more than that, it brings back his name, on her lips.

The heart knows what it wants.

Rubina took out her phone from her bag and dialed her manager's number.

"Get me Rahul Vaidya's number," Rubina said without wasting any time.

"Uh, okay, give me 15 minutes. Let's see what I can do about it," her manager replied, hesitantly.
