"Rubina! You've to say one thing you like about Rahul and one thing you don't."

As she said goodbye to her husband and watched him leave the stage, the host of BB14 asked Rubina to take a seat on one of the chairs that were placed on the left side of the stage. As she took her seat and watched other contestants arrive one by one, on the stage and chat with the host, Rubina found it hard to keep her "picture perfect" smile intact.

Her personal life has already taken a toll on her mental health but right now, in front of all these cameras, she can't afford to let its effects show up on her face. Shaking her head a little, she tried to get rid off those unwanted thoughts, just for a while.

The introduction were taking forever. Rubina felt tired to her bone and a little hungry too. Thankfully, the last contestant came on stage. Despite of the time being almost 12:30 a.m. at night, the new guy had a cheerful smile on his face.

The host introduced him to the viewers as Rahul Krishna Vaidya. When the guy started answering questions, Rubina noticed the gentle tone of his voice.
Must be a soulful singer, Rubina guessed. As the host started talking about rejected contestants, the guy turned and looked over at them.

For a brief moment, he looked at Rubina then turned back to the host to ask about the reason for their rejection. After knowing it, a sympathetic smile graced his face.

Rubina found it a little endearing when he talked about his parents. Seemed like he has a good sense of humour also.

But mainly, she found him to be a very empathetic person.

Might become friends inside the house. Rubina thought to herself and smiled.

A lot of things took place in the BB14 house within the first few weeks.

On one weekend, when all the contestants sat in the living room, the host asked them to one by one, put spray foam on someone's face, whom they individually think, doesn't deserve to be in the house and also explain the reason. Hearing so, Rubina began to rake her brain, to come up with a name and a valid reason.

"I want to put foam on his face." Rubina looked towards the familiar voice and saw Rahul, looking at her husband.
As her husband took his position behind the stand, Rahul began to give his reason. Something about humanity or empathy or some rubbish and then kind of implied with his words that her husband isn't a very good husband.

How dare he?

Is he trying to be some kind of a saviour? What does he know about their relationship? Who gave him the rights to utter such nonsense?

"He's got no right to disrespect my husband." Rubina thought, irritably.

So when her turn came, she sprayed the foam on Rahul's face, a little more than necessary. Also, made sure to tell him through her words, that she needed no saving and her husband is nothing but a good man. Rubina waited for some type of verbal retaliation but the guy stayed silent. Good.

"Go and throw the water on his face. He deserves it. He's good for that only."

Subconsciously, Rubina could feel herself going a little overboard as she said those words, but she didn't care. She needed him to suffer.

Weeks turned into a month but Rubina still couldn't feel alright around him. Still couldn't get over his statement, of all those weeks ago.
