It was a just a dream. A wonderful dream. A dream I wish were reality. I had a happy family, no evidence of evil in them. Amell wasn't a death eater. Andrea wasn't married to Rabastan Lestrange. And I wasn't in a arranged marriage, I was happy. But in reality, my family is evil, my brother is a death eater, Andrea is married to Rabastan Lestrange, and I am having a arranged marriage to Zane Carrow. I wasn't happy.

I didn't have a family anymore. My parents stop being my parents when they decided power was more important than their children's happiness. Amell stop being my brother when he decided to get that mark. Andrea stop being my sister when she decided that what our parents said was more important than her own happiness. They weren't my family, they were just strangers that I knew since I was born.

I'm not depressed just upset at the way my life has turned out so far. I would have thought there would have been more to life than money and power. An there is, I just don't have it yet. All I have is Regulus Black, my brother not by blood but by love.

He's my best friend and I would do anything for him. But knowing him, he wouldn't want me too.

I'm only ever happy when I'm at Hogwarts. I'm far away from my so said 'family'. My few friends that I have are there. But I have a feeling that this year won't be all easy. It hasn't been easy since 5th year.

Sirius left his family and got disowned. Because of that Regulus was left all alone with his horrid family. Andrea got married. Muggle families were targeted by death eaters and still are being targeted. And I'm getting married this summer.

"Life couldn't get any better than this-"

"I'm thankful for my parents" Amell turned to look at his parents "sisters" then his sisters "and of course my beautiful wife and daughter" and his wife who was carrying their daughter. "I know we will when this war for the good of all the wizarding world" he said smiling holding a Champagne glass.

I looked down at those words 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺'𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵.

"Cheers to that" their father said.

"May I be excused?"

My father glared at me.

Bowen and I weren't close. He never payed much attention to me as a child. He was all caught up with Amell, the golden boy, the favorite child.

"I'm tired."

"You're excused."

As I was getting up from my seat, my mother spoke "Honey, remember you have to wake up early tomorrow. The Carrow's are coming over so we can start planning the wedding."

"Right, I'll be up and early" I said threw a fake smile.

I went up to my room and slammed the door shut. Luckily for me, my parents couldn't hear the door slam or else I would be in trouble. I didn't like talking about the wedding, if that wasn't obvious. It made me uncomfortable knowing that I had no control over my life. It made me feel helpless.

After, a few minutes of being in my room there was a knock on bedroom door.

"Come in."

It was Amell.

"Can I sit?" He asked pointing to the empty spot next to me on the bed.

I nodded.

Amell knows how I feel about him being a death eater. He knew that I didn't like to be around him. He tried his best to make things normal like they were when we were younger but it never worked.

"I want to take you and Andrea out tomorrow. She's already said yes. Will you come?"

"What for?"

"Just want to hangout with you guys. You don't have to come, only if you want to."

I thought about it for a few seconds "Okay, but it has to be in the afternoon. You heard mum, I have to wake up early to meet the Carrow's."

"Yeah, of course" he said with a surprised look on his face. He didn't think I would say yes. "Goodnight" he said leaving the room.

"Night."
