zoning out of the conversation came surprisingly easily to me. I was sitting on the ground drowning in my thoughts. Hawks changed. I haven't really mentioned it because I love him. He makes me the happiest person but he wants to be someone who he isn't. I forgave him for the breaking of  demetri's arm because second chances are a must especially for the people you love right? 
I was feeling really exhausted right now cause my mind kept me up last night. Hawk fell asleep quickly but as he held me I couldn't help but think what he would say or do if I decided to quit cobra kai.
The front door bell ringing broke me from my thoughts causing me to look up and towards the door, a group of teenagers came through and I could already tell they thought they were all that.
Hawk tensed up and kreese started to walk to the front. "Class, welcome our new students"
After ass face  got scared by them hawk walked up to kreese and started to talk to him. I would of went with hawk but I am giving him space. It seemed like he needed it right now. I sat down and started stretching getting ready for the day. "Everyone fall in" kreese yelled out to us, as all of us got into our spots the new recruits got into a line in the back "Joining cobra kai is a privilege. It's not a gift. Which is why our recruits must earn their position in this dojo. Prepare yourselves for combat. Only the strong will survive" I turned my head to look at hawk. His eyes were wide and he looked a little terrified. He was terrified of one of the recruits.
"Class, prepare for combat"
As hawk and I stood off to the side of the mat one of the new recruits went to stand beside hawk but stopped and looked at hawks face. "Holy shit! You remember? Look, it's the kid with the lip!" I looked from hawk to this guy with a glare. Didn't he know it was rude to mention someone's facial deformities? 
"Yo, I thought he moved" "Oh, shit. You're right! Right" "Dude!" "Whoa"
"The hair kinda distracts you from it"
As hawk used his hand to cover it up kreese started to talk to us "All right, class. Let the games begin" "You" the one making fun of hawks lip stepped forward then ass face stepped up. They got ready to fight and as soon as kreeses yelled ass face kicked this guy in the face "Now your dead" they started fighting again and this guy had managed to get ass face in a choke hold. Ass face tapped out and kreese told the recruit to finish him. As soon as ass face got up and started walking towards his spot kreese questioned him. "You lost to an untrained fighter. He's going to take your spot on the team" ass face looked to hawk, Tory and I for help but we couldn't do anything. If we were to say something then kreese would make an example and that was the last thing we needed. "Sensei, assface has been loyal to the dojo" hawk finally stepped up "I'm afraid he's not....Cobra Kai material. I told you, only the strong will survive"
I rolled my eyes at this cause kreese may be my birth father but I knew he would get rid of anybody who stood in the way of not making this team perfect.
This was one of the other reasons I was thinking of quitting the team. I couldn't have my father as my Sensei's if he was going to be so cruel to others.
Tory was the next to fight and she was destroying the girl.
"You, big boy"
"Oh, yeah! All right, who's going down next?" The bigger guy stepped up and started attempting to act like a bad ass in the middle of the Mat.
"He's mine" hawk had a certain determined look on his face when he stepped up and when turned and looked at me one last time it scared me. He has never had that crazy look in his eyes before. "Get em, lip" I looked at this guy and glared.
"Ok, all right. Let's see if I can fix that lip of yours then" I rolled my eyes and cracked my knuckles which caught kreeses attention. He looked at me with the same look hawk had on his face. For once since I started cobra kai I was terrified to be here. I watched as kreese had the flags put away and as hawk took of his gi top and turned to face this big guy and for once I secretly took pity. I watched as hawk beat the living shit out of this guy. What gives someone the right to do this to someone?
"Wait. Stop"
Hawk kept on going harder and harder and kreese only encouraged him "Finish him"
I had to put my hand over my mouth to stop the sound from coming out. I have never seen hawk so violent and I don't think I know who this hawk is. I made eye contact with kreese and I knew that, that was the end for my time in cobra kai. He had turned every person in this dojo into a monster and it has unfortunatelycame to a time where I had to make a life choice. I stopped and thought about all the trouble I had caused and the pain everyone else had to go through. I was probably just as bad as the rest of them.
After what seemed like forever hawk got up and spit on the guy before he walked in front of the guy next to me and gave him a glare before turning to me, kissing my cheek and sharing a nod with red. I felt numb. He was playing a dirty game and I didn't want to be apart of it. I felt tears come to my eyes as kreeses started to speak to us.
"All right, class. I think we can call it a day. Someone pick him up. Also Miss. Kreese please join me in my office" my blood went cold and my eyes went wide as my father said this. As everyone looked around confused I closed my eyes before letting go of hawks hand and turning around walking and following kreese into his office.

"Why did you say that?" I questioned while looking out the office window at all of cobra kai. Nobody had left and it was probably because they were waiting for kreese to actually dismiss everyone.
"Say what Miss. Kreese" "That! My last name is Halifax not Kreese" I snapped with a sour taste in my mouth. I looked at kreese and he smirked. "Cause you are my daughter whether you like it or not Ophelia. I can see you haven't told anyone....not even hawk"
"Don't talk about him. He isn't needed in this conversation" "Oh but he is Ophelia. You didn't look so good in there, you wanna tell me why?" "Kreese I am not your daughter and I never will be. I also don't have to put up with your shit. I'm leaving cobra kai" I looked up into kreeses blue eyes and for once he looked surprised.
"Does hawk know that?" I looked out the window, looking out at everyone. I was going to miss it but I don't want to be apart of this disgusting cruel place.
"Let's go" kreese put his hand on my shoulder and guided me out of the office.
He stopped once out of the office and pushed me towards hawk.
"Hawk you and Ophelia are dismissed. Unfortunately Ophelia has came to the decision to leave cobra kai" I looked at everything around me before looking at my friends. Tory looked upset and angry.
Hawks face was blank and for some reason that scared me cause I knew there was a fight soon to come.
