Sunshine and karate

The water was one of the places Ophelia could always go to when she was feeling sad cause it would make her feel better.
The beach was the first thing Ophelia thought of when she woke up the next morning. She got up and stretched out her muscles while yawning and rubbing her eyes. Kelsey told her when she got home last night that at some point today she had to go buy herself a 'proper' car as her parents had put it while talking on the phone a couple months back. She decided that the beach was her first priority though since it was summer and she preferred to do the shopping for later. Getting up out of bed she quickly threw her bright red hair up in a messy bun and walked into the giant walk in closet pulling on a new red bikini. Grabbing everything quickly she skipped downstairs to the kitchen grabbing a banana.
"Now where are you going Ophelia?" Jumping then holding her chest Ophelia turned around and glared at Kelsey who was trying not to laugh too hard.
"If you must know I'm going to the beach for a couple hours then I'll come back here and get dressed. Oh and don't worry I'm goin a have one of the security guards drive me to whatever dealership we are going to today. I was thinking about getting a Jeep"
"Alright but please be back by 3:30. It's 10 am now so go and have fun.  Be safe too alright?"
Nodding Ophelia grabbed her flops and walked outside to her motorcycle. Looking up at the sky she noticed just how pretty it was today, normally it's cloudy but there isn't any clouds at all today. Getting on the bike Ophelia drove off thinking about finding a spot to relax without being in the eyes of there's.

The moment her feet she touched the sand a rush of happiness appeared in her. Smiling at the waves ahead of her Ophelia started running down the beach dropping her bag in the sand along with her sundress and then finally reaching the ocean. Diving in felt like the world around her disappeared for awhile and it felt amazing. After 2 hours of swimming Ophelia retreated back to shore and sat down thinking about the night before and the boy she had met. Smiling she reached for her phone and looked at the time. A text from a random number popped up on her phone.
Hey beautiful it's hawk! The cute guy from Applebee's last night!
Smiling Ophelia texted hawk back telling him about everything going on before putting her phone in her bag. Ophelia closed her eyes and stood up whipping off the sand on her hands. Opening her brown eyes Ophelia decided that she was going to start doing karate again. Hawk convinced her last night to go to his karate studio called cobra Kai to John him and his friends. Unfortunately it was too late to go now but I had to go home so I could go get a car.

"Welcome to the Larusso auto car dealership!" A man said to Kelsey and I even we walked through the front door of this dealership. I hate places like this cause they try to take advantage of you just for your money. "Hey I'm here to buy a car. Can you just point me in the direction of the Jeep's and trucks?" I said to the guy standing in front of me. He smiles at me and pointed behind him. "If you need anything please just let me know. My names Daniel Larusso" .

I walked over to the Jeep's with Kelsey and started inspecting them all. Kelsey said that since I love red then I should probably go for the huge and beautiful red 2019 Jeep Wrangler. Once we agreed that this was the perfect car Kelsey went to find mr. Larusso so that I could pay for the car in full and so I could go home. I wanted to see if maybe hawk wanted to hang out later and maybe we could do some karate. 10 minutes later mr. Larusso strolled up to me with Kelsey in tow. "Hello so your friend here told me that you wanted to buy this car?" Nodding I turned around and shook his hand smiling. "Hey yeah I would love to buy this car if that's possible?" " Yes ma'am just follow me to fill out some paperwork"

"Well here you go! The keys to your new vehicle and also here is a bonsai tree it comes free when you buy a car from the Larusso dealership so thank you miss..."
"Halifax. Ophelia Halifax. And thank you for my new car. Now if you please excuse me I need to go to my friends karate studio"

Kelsey and I hoped into the Jeep and drive off all the back to the house. When I got home I got my phone out and called hawk.

Hey hawk I was wondering what you were up to? Maybe we could hang out?
That would be cool. I'm free now if your not busy. I just got done with karate practice if you want to come pick me up?
Alright just send me the address and I'll be there in 10?

Pulling up and parking in the lot in front of Cobra Kai would normally seem easy since there isn't a ton of other places in the small strip but with all the new teenagers trying to join Cobra Kai it made it very hard to park. Finally finding a spot at the front I waiting around 10 minutes till hawk walked outside with Miguel. They were joking about stuff that happened today with the new recruits and how Sensei seemed to be even more stressed after his Sensei walked in.
Rolling down the window I whistled at them catching their attention, "How was practice? Seems like a lot happened today?" They walked over to me and we sat talking about everything going on. 
"Hey you said you wanted to start doing karate again right? Well why don't we go speak to Sensei right now then we can go to your place after?" Hawk stated while winking at me at the end. I smirked at him and batted my eyes then turned to Miguel "What about you? Too busy to hang out or do you have plans?" I said raising an eyebrow once I was done talking. Miguel smiled and said he had to go straight home cause his mom needed him but I'm pretty sure that was a lie from the look hawk sent him.
Turning and smirking at hawk I rolled up my window and opened my door hoping out and locking it up. "So handsome what do you think of my new car? I just went and bought it literally 30 minutes ago" I mused while looking back at him as I was headed for the door. Hawk soon followed me stating "That's your car? Like yours? Not your parents?" I hummed in acknowledgment and walked into the dojo. It was nice surprisingly. Strike first. Strike hard. No mercy. Was written on the wall in black paint and I grinned at that. Two older guys walking out of an office made me turn towards them.
"Sensei this is Ophelia Halifax and she wants to join our dojo, Ophelia this is my Sensei" I stepped forward at the introduction and stuck my hand out while smirking up at this guy. I looked behind the Sensei and couldn't believe my eyes. The man standing there was the man who taught me everything I knew about karate.
John Kreese was a tough man. Hence the no mercy. He taught me that lesson the hard was with a broken leg. I learned that day though.
Blinking I came back to this Sensei looking at me then back to John.
"Come back tomorrow and bring a checkbook"
Turning away from me he went to continue his conversation with John. I rolled my eyes and opened my wallet pulling out 300 cash. "Would this be enough? If not I can get you more right now?" Sensei turned back towards me with a shocked look on his face but took the money anyway. "Well If it isn't miss Halifax" while smirking I looked over at Mr. Kreese. "Hello Sensei"
Johnny and hawk looked between the both of us confused and it made me chuckle.  "Hawk remember when I said I knew karate and I lived in Japan?" He nodded and Johnny still looked confused. "Well he taught me everything that I know"
With both of the shocked expressions on their faces and the proud smile on Kreese's made me smile brightly. 
Kreese stepped forward putting putting a hand on Johnny's shoulder and sticking a hand towards the mat.
"Why don't you show us if you still remember your training miss Halifax"
Smirking brightly I turned to hawk and winked. I turned around and took off my shoes by the door, turning back around I walked towards hawk slowly and whispered something in his ear.
"Wanna fight me hawk?"
Backing up I looked into his blue eyes and winked while walking onto the mat.
