Hooked By Her // Cobra Kai

5 AM training session

Waking up early was never my strong suit. But since I just joined Cobra Kai yesterday I wanted to be there with the rest of the team this morning for training. 3:30 am was when my alarm clock went off letting me know it was time to get up.
I jumped up out of bed and put on some athletic leggings and a sports bra along with a thin top, threw my hair up in a messy bun and put on my tennis shoes. After getting dressed I grabbed a couple apples from the kitchen and a tiny thing of oj before putting it in a backpack and running out the front door to meet everyone at the nearby park at 5 am for some sort of practice.

"Alright let's get started. Everyone start mixing cement! Sensei Lawrence shouted at all of us while he went to talk to Sensei Kreese.
Standing over by hawk and Miguel I started to question them on how the made Sensei so upset that they had to mix and make cement. "Hey don't add too much water, you wanna make it nice and thick" Sensei said to us while Miguel decided to ask Sensei something. "Sensei why are we mixing cement?" "No questions. Keep stirring!" We all looked at each other and I went to grab another bag of cement handing it off to hawk.

Not even 2 minutes later everyone looks up to the sound of a semi truck blowing it's horn coming at us, the driver parked and jumped out while walking up to Sensei but stopped when he saw us. He said something to Sensei Johnny then walked away while all of us just looked at each other and then got back to work mixing more cement.
" Hey It looks like those guys over there need some help so I'll be back in a minute." With that Miguel walks off leaving hawk and I alone to talk. I looked up at him and smirked. "So hawk what would you do if you asked a girl on a date?" Smirking back at me hawk answered without hesitation, "Is that you asking me on a date Halifax? Cause if so I would love to go on a date with you" I smiled and chuckled softly while grabbing a handful of his jacket and pulling him closer to me "I was just making conversation but if you want to take me on a date I wouldn't say no. If fact I would probably say yes but you haven't asked me on a date so..." After I said this hawk looked lost for a moment before he smiled at me a genuine smile and laughed. "Alright beautiful. I'll pick you up tonight at 6:30?" Nodding I looked down with a light blush on my cheeks that just grew more when I felt him kiss my cheek. We smirked at each other before we decided to just continue working in silence.

10 minutes later Sensei had us all standing in front of the cement truck.
"You think winning the all valley give you the right to goof off? Well I got new for you, winning one championship doesn't mean squat! A true champion never stops training. You gotta keep moving forward, unless your gonna get stuck exactly where you are. Just like the cement in this truck, if that drum doesn't start turning then the cement inside will harden and get stuck. Is that what you want to happen to you?"
"No Sensei"
" Good. Then climb up, get inside and make it spin."
Confusion broke out between all of us. Sensei wanted us to get into a cement truck even though it's dangerous and make it spin.
"Sensei we are sorry for messing around" Aisha spoke aloud
Hawk nodded his head agreeing with her "We learned our lesson"
"Get in!" Sensei shouted at us angrily. I had no idea what to feel about this but whatever hawk did I would do. " Sensei, this seems really dangerous I mean, the fumes alone.."
"Quiet!" Sensei Kreese yelled at us. "This man led you to the mountain top, and you question him? Look at you. Look at all of you. I can't believe this entire pack of pussies competed in the all valley, and let alone won. It's an absolute miracle. And who's responsible for that miracle? Johnny Lawrence
The best student in the history of cobra Kai. My student."
Hawk and everybody looked impressed by kreeses speech.
"You were Sensei's Sensei?" Hawk asked
"You better believe it kid. And I tell you I have never trained a tougher student in my whole life besides when I trained Ophelia in Japan. So if you know what good for you, you better listen to every goddamn word that man says."
For a minute it was just silent. Nobody knew what to say. Some were shocked that our Sensei and I have been trained by kreese. I could tell from the looks I was getting. Others were just curious and weary. Miguel stepped up and said " I'll do it Sensei." The stepped up to the latter that was hanging down for us. Hawk followed right after with a determination look on his face and I followed right after and soon eventually 10 or so of us were in there.
Slipping was a understatement. As soon as I stepped in I fell and knocked hawk over and then start laughing silently. And when everyone was in there it was worse.
"Don't just stand there your gonna get stuck. Move!" Sensei Lawrence yelled at us. We all leaned up against the side and started pushing our hardest to which it started to move. We could hear Sensei outside yelling at us to do it faster.  "Keep pushing all together"
"You got this guys let's go!"
"That's it! Yes!"
Sensei and everyone was clapping their hands and yelling words of encouragement as we started to make it roll faster.

Once we were done we all stood together while getting hosed off which was difficult cause the cement had started to dry.
"You should all be proud of yourselves. I know I'm proud. Your parents would be proud too in they knew what we were doing here today which you won't tell them. You pushed forward like champions. Never stopping. Never being satisfied. Never giving up. And if you keep pushing and keep moving forward, your going to go to places you never even dreamed of." Sensei said to all of us while stopping and smiling at Miguel, Hawk and I.
