"Miyagi-Do's bring it in. Some of you have been here before...and for some of you, it's your first karate tournament. I still remember my first all valley where I stood here proudly with my Sensei. This is where I faced down the bullies of Cobra Kai. Now getting here hasn't been easy. There've been some bumps in the road, to put it mildly. Remember what's at stake. If Cobra Kai wins, our dojo closes for good. Now we aren't going to let that happen right? Of course not. Because we have something that Cobra Kai doesn't...We have Miyagi-Do. So let's go out there and show Cobra Kai what we're made of. Are you ready?"

"Yes sensei"

"Are you guys nervous..?"
Sitting down beside Dimitri, Eli and Sam to stretch before the skills portion of the competition started, I needed to make sure they were all going to be okay. Over the past few months I have grown friendships with them and I need to know that no matter what it is going to be okay.
Dimitri looked around at us before sighing "I mean why should we be nervous? We are just as skilled as Cobra Kai and while you guys have muscles, I have tiny fragile bones that are easily broken...If anyone still remembers that incident" After saying this Dimitri looked down then at hawks face "Dude I said I was sorry for that!" "I know! I didn't say it to a-fend you" Rolling my eyes I looked over at Samantha, who was of course had her eyes closed while stretching her arms over her head. "What about you Sam? Are you ready?"
Looking into my eyes now I knew the answer before the words could even come out of her mouth.
"Ready as I'll ever be. Are you Ophelia?"
Now that was a good question.
After the fighting, Switching between dojos, fighting with my parents and Kelsey and ending up in the hospital I am starting to realize that no matter what happens I'm still going to walk out being Ophelia Halifax. I'm part Cobra Kai, I'm part Miyagi-Do.
Nothing is ever going to change that.
"You bet your sweet ass I am. Now let's go out there and win"

Midway through the skills portion had ended, Miyagi-Do was in first place and eagle fang was in second. Cobra Kai was in fifth place but unfortunately they could still catch up extremely fast.
Screaming "Let's go Sam!" Eli and I were were standing up, waiting for Samantha to do her portion with the knives. Call me biased but I think she was doing the best out of everyone.
After Sam, it was Eli's turn to break boards.
Grabbing a board and king over to the mat I locked eyes with Eli and gave him a nod. No matter what everything was going to be alright.
"Okay. Put me on your shoulders Chris and try to hold still while I'm on your shoulders"
Climbing up on his shoulders, I put the board out in front of me and held it as still as possible.
It began as quickly as it had ended.
First board down...Second board down...Third board down...Eli backed away and took a deep breath. After a second he leaped forwards and threw both feet in the air about to break the board I was holding but only it didn't break. It was nudged upwards and that was it. Closing my eyes tightly, I gave Chris a a tap on the shoulder indicating to let me down.
Walking behind Eli, I wrapped my arms around him and kissed his cheek softly before turning him around to face me.
"It's going to be okay. Even if it's not then we will figure it out okay"
"I should've broke that board lia. We have practiced for weeks and every time I broke it. But now the time I need it to...I'm a failure Ophelia"
Shaking my head, I cupped his face with my hands and made him look at me.
"Eli Moskowitz you are not a god damn failure. You made it here. If you were a failure then you wouldn't of made it to where you are at now. So stop pouting and let's win this thing. I need my leading man beside me"
"You are something special my beautiful Ophelia"
Smiling up at Eli I gave him a quick kiss and then went to go sit on the bench.
