Part 9 || comfort

Y/N's POV

Once I got home I slammed the door shut right away, removing my jacket.

Jay: "y/n! Get up here someone's here to see you!" Shoot is is Sunghoon? I quickly went to the guest bathroom downstairs and fixed myself. Ok I think that's good, it doesn't look like I cried right? I nodded to myself walking up the stairs

I opened my door and see Yeji, Jay, and Jake in my room sitting on my bed

Y/N: "what are you guys-?" They all suddenly hugged me, without saying anything I started crying. They knew about my troubles, they knew about the things the girls called me. We pulled apart,

Jake: "y/n..." we looked at each other and he gave me a sad smile making me cry more and he hugged me letting me cry on his chest

Jay's POV

Jake comforted y/n and I side hugged Yeji

Yeji: "what can we do?" I look at y/n and Jake and sighed

Jay: "y/n doesn't want us to tell Sunghoon, and we have to respect her" she sighed

Jake's POV

Y/n pulled away and my shirt was all wet

Y/N: "I'm sorry about your shirt" I smiled

Jake: "it doesn't matter"

Y/N: "why'd you guys come?"

Jay: "well actually after you left Yeji came over to play video games and when she saw I wasn't in my room she went in yours to ask where I was but instead she saw me frustrated while sitting on your bed. I told her that I knew about the bullying and then after a while Jake came and we told him we knew about it"

Y/N: "but then why did you come?" She asked me and I became nervous

Jake: "I just- I just wanted to see if you were alright" she made an o shape and nodded

Jay: "we'll leave you guys for a while" my heart started beating faster, me and y/n alone in her room? I look over to y/n and it doesn't seem like she cares which made me unconsciously frown. I walk over to sit beside her on her bed and I just see her staring at her skates and her trophies and medals

Jake: "why do you keep staring at them?" She turned to me sadly

Y/N: "well Sunghoon gave me those skates when we were kids and I won those medals and trophies together with Sunghoon" at that point I wanted to remove those things out of her sight. I felt like I wanted to just remove Sunghoon from her mind and let her focus on me.

She looked over to her window and I sighed, I know they're neighbors and Sunghoon comes in and out of y/n's room and vice versa.

Y/N: "I want to tell Sunghoon but then I don't want him to worry" I looked away frustrated, I was lying down on something weird so I put my hand behind my back and felt a stuff toy. I look at it and it looked really cute "looks like you found bun bun" she smiled sitting up looking at the bunny in my hands

Jake: "bun bun?" She nodded and fixed his bow tie and I smiled looking at her

Y/N: "he was the one who actually got Sunghoon to talk" my smiled dropped and I looked at her curiously. Sunghoon again? I would be lying if I said I didn't feel a tiny bit jealous

Jake: "what do you mean" She fully stat up ready to share me the story

Y/N: "when he first came over when we were like 10, 11 years old? I'm not sure anymore but you know how he is right? He never talked to Jay or me so when I made bun bun talk that's the first time he smiled and asked me to be his friend" I faked smiled but I was honestly hurt. I think I like her already? But why? This is so random? I've never felt like this towards her before.

Bun bun: "what is Jake oppa thinking about? Can you tell my friend why you spaced out?" Y/n said in bun bun's voice which made both of us laugh. She suddenly hugged me and I was a bit shocked but I hugged her back

Y/N: "thanks Jake, I feel better" I smiled and my face started heating up. My phone rang and it was my mom

Y/N's POV

I felt better as Jake comforted me but still, I don't feel fully comforted. I just kept imaging if Jake was Sunghoon I'd probably feel a lot better. Maybe cause me and Sunghoon have a different connection

Jake's phone started ringing and he picked it up.

Mom: "Jake hunny please go home already"
Jake: "now?"
Dad: "yes we cooked your favorite for dinner"
Jake: "alright"

He looked at me with a sorry face and I chuckled

Y/N: "go on, thanks for being here" I said ruffling his puppy like hair and he laughed

Jake: "alright see you y/n" he kissed my cheek and went out of my room

His parents' voice sound familiar... eh never mind

I didn't think much of it cause I mean Jake's one of my closest friends. He's like a brother. I sat on the edge of my bed holding onto bun bun. I averted my gaze to my skates and sighed. I don't want to feel like that towards you Sunghoon. Cause if I do and you knew, I'm scared you'll push me away
