Part 14 || standing up for me

Y/N's POV

I'm so nervous!! Our competition is this week! Ok ok ok it's fine it's fine. You've done a lot of other competitions with Sunghoon this won't be any different. Noooo but if we don't win this we won't be national champions! Ughhh

Jay: "y/n-ah! Go to school with Sunghoon I'm going ahead with Yeji" I heard the door close and I had my mouth drop open sarcastically.

I finished getting ready and packed my ice skating clothes and skates for later and slung my school backpack on my shoulder. I opened the window climb onto the tree and jumped into Sunghoon's room which made him turn around but he was SHIRTLESS AGAIN!!

Y/N&Sunghoon: "SHIT!" I turned around facing the window with my breathing unstably fast and my heart beating like it wanted to get out of my rib cage

Sunghoon's POV

I was changing my clothes and was trying to find my shirt. In the middle of finding it I suddenly heard a thump which made me turn. I look straight to see y/n jumped into my room. I was gonna say hi but then she widened her eyes and I realized

Y/N&Sunghoon: "SHIT!" We both said at the same time realizing

Y/N: "I'm s-sorry!!" I bent down trying to look for my shirt

Sunghoon: "n-no so-sorry! I can't find my shirt" my heart was beating so loud I can hear it in my head. I searched for my shirt as fast as I can and finally found it "found it!" I wore it right away and fixed myself

Y/N: "can I turn around now?" I hummed in response and both of us were blushing like crazy "sorry about that again" she scratched the back of her neck

Sunghoon: "no it's ok" we nervously chuckled "anyway what're you doing here?"

Y/N: "oh! Jay left me, he said he was going to school with Yeji early" I gave her a confused face

Sunghoon: "wait Yeji's not here?" I opened my door and shouted her name "YEJI!" No response, did she leave without even telling me? I heard y/n chuckle and I look back and smile to her "well let's go?" She nodded and I grabbed my backpack plus my other bag for my skating stuff for practice later

<time skip school>

As we were walking and talking Enhypen called us out

Niki: "Y/n! Sunghoon!" We look up at their direction and walked to them with a smile on our face

Y/N: "yah you left me and Sunghoon!"

Yeji: "oh please I'm sure you're fine with it" we both blushed and the others started oo-ing and when I turned to look at Jake he was looking away all jealous.

Girl: "hey oppas" I rolled my eyes and curled my lip up in disgust. It's so cringey when they call us that

Heeseung: "you guys again?!" He groaned while complaining

Girl3: "oh please I know you like our attention"

Yeji: "I'm gonna go I can't stay here any longer with these pieces of trash" my sister left walking to her building

Girl2: "now the only slut left here is, you" she empathized the last word turning to y/n

Jake: "shut up and get the fuck out of here" he placed his arm in front of y/n protecting her

Girl: "come on Sunghoon oppa you're gonna let him talk to me like that?" She pouted clinging onto my arm and I harshly removed it still not saying anything

Jungwon: "can't you see he's not comfortable with you? He only talks to people hes ok with"

Jay: "yup so that should be an obvious sign you should go" we smiled at them sarcastically and they looked at us frustrated

Girl2: "but oppa! She keeps flirting with all of you and she's such a slut!" Calm down calm down

Girl3: "why do you even like her she's literally a piece of trash" 1

Girl: " *scoff-laugh* can't believe shes your standard" 2

Girl2: "yeah she's just an ugly slut who messes around with boys" she came close to y/n's face repeatedly poking her forehead. 3!

THAT'S IT!

I grabbed her arm away from y/n lifting her up slightly

Girl2: "o-ow! Oppa you're hurting me"

Sunghoon: "I don't give a fuck if I do! You deserve it! You're the slut! Not y/n! She's my childhood bestfriend and also Jay's twin brother so if you're gonna come here and assume things then I suggest you get the hell out of my sight!" I shouted at the 3 of them and everyone outside the school was staring at us

Y/N's POV

Sunghoon spoke to them! He did it... protecting me? He never talked to others, even if he was annoyed but he actually shouted at them... for me. As he was shouting at them my heart started beating faster. I held my chest hoping to calm it down but of course that didn't work.

Girl: "o-oppa please dont-"

Sunghoon: "I SAID GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" He threw the girls arm and everyone around us started whispering

Boy: "dude! Sunghoon just roasted those girls!"

Boy2: "is he dating y/n? Cause I thought I could get a chance with her"

Girl4: "yo! Sunghoon just yelled at her! Like THE Sunghoon!"

Girl5: "I know right! And Sunghoon never says anything to anyone!"

The girls frantically left and Sunghoon turned around facing me

Sunghoon: "they won't bother you again" I smiled and I hugged him as tight as I can

A/N's POV

As y/n was hugging Sunghoon thanking him, Jake stood behind them knowing he didn't stand a chance anymore. "Who am I kidding? Sunghoon's known y/n longer and they've had a connection ever since" Jake said to himself walking away with a smile "maybe just maybe, I'll slowly lose my feelings for you" he nodded to himself and proceeded to class. Y/n and Sunghoon broke their hug and smiled to each other. They walked to class and had normal but at the same time different day.
