Part 12 || ice skating

Y/N's POV

I look at him running to his house weirdly but I just shrugged it off and did what he said. I changed my clothes and grabbed my skates looking over to his window.

Y/N: "SHIT!" I turn around closing my eyes after what I just saw. I literally saw Sunghoon shirtless! WTFFFF!! My heart started beating fast and I slowly turned my head to see him STILL shirtless! I look at at another direction and shake my head "no no no no NO! Snap out of it!" What is he even doing walking around in his room like that?! I mentally slapped myself walking down the stairs

Mom: "hey honey where you going?" I turn to my parents

Y/N: "oh I'm going to the ice rink with Sunghoon"

Dad: "but from what I know you guys don't have practice today right?"

Y/N: "we don't but we're just hanging out" I smiled budding them goodbye closing the door behind me. Why'd I feel the vibe they were so against it?

Sunghoon: "y/n!" I look to my left and see Sunghoon running towards me with a big smile "let's go" he grabbed my wrist making us run

Y/N: "why are we running" I asked while panting. He didn't answer me but just kept running.

<ice rink>

Y/N: "you know if you just wanted to hangout with me alone you could've just asked me instead of pulling me here" we chuckled

He grabbed my wrist pulling me inside the ice rink.

Sunghoon: "come on" he glided backwards and I went towards him smiling. He offered his hand out and I gladly accepted it. He took both my hands and he started turning us around to which I just followed his lead

Y/N: "this is fun" he nodded "being quiet again?" He chuckled

Sunghoon: "no just- just enjoying the moment" moment? What's he talking about? He let go of my hands moving to the side and glided towards the middle doing a perfect turn

Y/N: "with your turns we're totally gonna win the competition next week"

Sunghoon: "with your gracefulness we'll definitely win" I glided on the ice with my arms out and my head thrown back enjoying the breeze and the feeling of freeness. I didn't notice it but Sunghoon was staring at me. I did a small twirl and faced him with a smile on my face which made him giggled moving towards me "y/n..." he called me holding both my hands while pulling both of us towards the middle

Y/N: "yeah?" I look up at him waiting for what he'll say next

Sunghoon: "I know you're not telling me something and I'm not forcing you to" we stared at each other and all I can see in his eyes was pure worry "I just want you to know that no matter what I'll always be by your side and stick with you forever" I smiled and hugged him as we moved slowly on the ice

Y/N: "thanks Hoonie, I love you"

Sunghoon: "I love you too"

I love you I said that knowing you'd say it back but only if you knew that I didn't mean that as a friend.

Sunghoon's POV

Y/N: "I love you" my heart pumped faster and my face felt hot

Sunghoon: "I love you too" I know you only said that as a friend but I hope you know that I love you more than that

Y/N: "you know, when you skate you look like a prince" she pulled away from me and started doing her own thing

Sunghoon: "you look like a princess when you skate" we faced each other while moving to the side in a circle motion

Y/N: "hmm we can have a stage name for when we compete. I mean others have but I remember we never got to come up with one"

Sunghoon: "how about the ice prince and the ice princess?" She smiled brightly giving me a thumbs up

Y/N: "I love it" She skated across me and stretched out her arms "ughhh I wish we can stay here forever" she closed her eyes feeling the atmosphere. I skated to her stopping her from moving, she opened her eyes and looked at me curiously

Sunghoon: "let's skate together" I pulled both her hands and skated towards the middle.

We spun around holding each other's hands while leaning backwards trusting that neither of us will let go. We let go of one hand and started dancing different motions.

Y/N's POV

He let go of both my hands and we started moving to what we felt like but still connected with each other. I don't know how but we communicated so well especially when it comes to skating, we have this special connection that I can't describe. We laughed and smiled as we did turns, jumps, spins and what not. We came close to each other and did our finishing pose.

He had his hands on my waist and my hands were wrapped around his neck. We stared into each other's eyes not saying a word. My heart started beating fast and my breathing became unstable. I have never been this happy in my entire life. I felt safe and no I don't think it's because of the ice rink. I never felt this happy after skating freely by myself. It was Sunghoon, he made me happy, he made me feel safe, he made me feel valued and wanted.

Sunghoon's POV

I stared into her eyes and I couldn't look away even if I tried. My face turned hot and my heart was beating a thousand miles an hour. I looked at her and I just knew, she was the one I love. I can't imagine Jake taking her from me. I don't want him to. I wanted y/n with me for the rest of my life. I wanted to hug her and never let her go. I wanted to kiss her letting her know that I love her so goddamn much. My eyes trailed to her lips and I could feel her eyes on mine. I leaned in slowly and she did the same, both of us closing our eyes slowly about to kiss each other until...

Mr.Choi: "hey kids! It's getting late" we opened our eyes and pulled apart immediately

Y/N: "o-ok Mr.Choi! We'll wrap it up!" We both cheekily smiled at each other and y/n headed towards the exit with me following behind her.

<time skip on the way home>

Y/N: "thanks for today Sunghoon"

Sunghoon: "no problem y/n" we continued walking until y/n placed her hands on my chest stopping me

Y/N: "oh. my. god. We have to get ice cream!" She ran inside the convenience store and I just chuckled

Sunghoon: "I'll go wait here ok?"

Y/N: "ok and chocolate right?" I nodded and I leaned on the tree using my phone by the side walk

Girl: "omg gurl did you see what- oh Sunghoon!" I look up from my phone and see the 3 annoying girls that tried getting close to me. I ignored them and looked back down on my phone. They were carrying shopping bags so I guess they came from the mall

Girl3: "what are you doing here oppa?" I glared at her, I hate it when they call me that. I rolled my eyes secretly and played with my phone

Girl2: "oppa why don't you come with us?" She clung onto my arm but I moved it away.

Girl: "why don't you like talking oppa? You don't talk to anyone besides your weird gang" I tried ignoring them but they were getting on my nerves

Y/N: "hey Hoonie I got our-"
