I love this house so much. I'm glad we buy it. It was almost noon and so Eddie and I decided to drop by at the station. We hoped they are at the station. We needed almost 10 minutes to start, because Chris didn't want to leave. After a short ride we were at the station and the trucks weren't there. That means they are on a call. I asked Eddie, if he can ask Maddie what call the guys are at. I took Chris with me and put him on the couch. Eddie came back upstairs and said it wasn't a big call, so they should be back in a few minutes. He joined Chris on the couch and I go into the kitchen and started to make a lasagna. Kind of my specialty. Right before it was done the trucks pulled back into the station.
Shortly after everyone put their gear back, they came upstairs. 'Hey Eddie, what's that smell?' 'That's lasagna.' 'You cooked? We need to order something.' Buck said laughing. 'Hey, you always loved my lasagna when we were teens.' 'False alarm guys, you're going to fall for her lasagna.' 'Come on, let's eat before you get another call.'
Buck was the first one who sat at the table. Right after him Eddie with Chris. The rest normally walked over to the table. I startet to put them something on their plates and we started to eat. Luckily the guys didn't get a call and we could eat relaxed. We stayed until the afternoon and what we know, the rest of the shift was very quiet.
~later that evening
We decided to order something to eat. Chris wanted chinese so we ordered that. I already want to get some stuff for the new house and we need some groceries too, so I drive to Walmart nd get some things. I give Eddie a kiss and Chris got one on his head. I take my keys and get into my car. I connect my phone with the car, put some music on and drive to Walmart with a stop at Starbucks. When I pulled into the parking lot at Walmart I disconnected my phone, grabbed my purse and enter Walmart. Little did I know what would happen next.
