Louis' P.O.V.

We'd been on the island for nearly five months.

Everyday it seemed to rain less, and we could never soothe our thirst.

"Well," Amber said. "At least we know that we shouldn't drink out of the pond." I shuddered. "Ugh. That was terrible."

Amber worried about me alot. Honestly, she should have been more concerned about herself.

Her ribs were visible and her collarbone stuck out. She could barely choke down the same foods we ate everday. Sometimes she went a couple of days without eating. When she did that I eventually had to force her to eat.

We hardly ever talked about being rescued anymore, because we knew it wouldn't happen. It just made us sad. We were still clinging on to the hope that a plane would fly over and see us...barely
