Louis' P.O.V.

The pilot of the private jet I was on had passed out. I quickly found a lifejacket and put it on.

By the time I'd reached the cockpit, the jet was only seconds away from crashing into an oncoming plane. Without thinking, I grabbed the yoke and directed the plane straight toward the sea.

The jet went straight down, plunging into the ocean. I was knocked off of my feet.

Water violently spun all around me. It poured into my throat and I couldn't breathe.

I made my way out of the aircraft as fast as possible. Slowly, my lifejacket lifted me up. My head broke the surface, and I coughed uncontrollably to get the water out of my lungs until I could breathe.

I looked all around. All I saw was water.

Suddenly, I saw another person surface. As fast as I could, I swam toward them. My head was trobbing so hard, it felt like it was about to explode.

When I reached the person, I realized she was crying and bleeding. She tried to talk to me, but I couldn't understand a single word coming out of her mouth.

I grabbed her shoulders in an effort to make her calm down. She stopped talking. Her eyes closed and she fell backwards into the water. "Hey!" I yelled. "Wake up!" She slowly began to drift away. I grabbed one of the straps on her lifejacket and used my other arm to shake her shoulder. She didn't respond. I lifted her head to my ear. I could hear and feel her breathing.

The ocean's current began to pull us away from the wreckage. I gripped the strap from her lifejacket tighter. I was floating, with her close behind me. My heart continued to pound in my chest.

Does anybody know what's happened to us?

The sun began to set. God only knows how long the two of us have been in the ocean. I could tell the temperature was dropping, She began to shiver, and I pulled her closer, in an attempt to share body heat.

I put my arm around her back and felt something warm. She was still bleeding. I didn't want to hurt her, so I wrapped my arm around her shoulders, where she wasn't bleeding, and swung her legs into my other arm. She shook violently in my arms.

I gently shook her to make sure she was still alive. She murmered quietly.

I began to drift off to sleep, finally allowing my legs to relax. I was so exausted. I would only close my eyes for a minute.

As I was dozing, I heard a splash. I awoke at once and looked around. I turned around to look behind me. Her body limply swung in my arms as I turned. There wasn't anything behind me. I heard another splash. Pulling her closer to me, I turned back around. Then I saw it. The splashing was the water hitting land. I was so relieved.

The current pulled us toward the land. I removed my arm from beneath her legs and swam, trying to get to shore as fast as I could. Once my feet touched the sand, I put my arm under her legs again and carried her to the shore.

I fell onto my knees and gently set her down on the sand. I sat still for a minute. Eventually I layed down next to her and closed my eyes. I was asleep the minute my head hit the sand.

When I woke up, the sun was beating down on me. I was extremely sore. She was still asleep next to me. Slowly, I sat up.

I looked at her. She was bruised and cut. There was glass lodged in her skin in some places. I felt her shoulder and she was warm.

Carefully, I shook her shoulder, "Can you hear me? Babe?" She didn't wake up. I shook her again, but forcefully this time. Her eyes fluttered open, and I sighed in relief.
