Louis' P.O.V.

Two years on the island.

Two years.

I couldn't believe Amber and I had survived that long.

"Louis!" I heard her scream. I ran toward her voice as she continued shouting my name. "Louis! Helicopter!" Those words caused me to run as fast as my legs would carry me. I found her standing at the edge of the sand, jumping and waving her arms. I looked up and saw a helicopter far off in the distance.

"Amber, we have to go." I said. "What?" she said with a horrified expression. "If we get into the ocean, we'll be closer to the helicopter. They'll see us," I said. She bit her lip. "Amber. Trust me," I said. She nodded and we ran into the water.

When our feet could no longer reach the sand, we swam. That's when the wave came. A huge, roaring wave. It came down on us and we were separated. The wave pulled me under and I spun in the water. All of the air had been knocked out of me, and I struggled to get my head above water. When my head broke the surface, Amber wasn't in sight. I yelled her name, managing to keep my head aboved the surface. I gasped for air and continued to shout her name. Another wave came, and I was shoved back under the water.
