"Can you explain everything to me now?" Eren asked.
"You might be surprised to know you have a cousin who's parents were murdered just like yours Eren."
"I know I've got some family they didn't want to talk about, including you."
"With good reason, you do know Yusha wasn't your real father?"
"Erm no I didn't."
"You're real father is in Annwvn."
"Where?" Issa asked.
"Not too far from where I live."
"Wait, why didn't I know about this? My real dad is still alive? How do you know this?"
"I'm your aunt and your real father is my half brother, whatever proof you need I'll show you including a letter your mom gave me."
"A letter."
"To give to you if anything happened to them."
"Who's this cousin, I've got a few I don't talk to."
"Evie, she has blue hair just like you."
"She does? Can I meet her?"
"Soon, she's in London at the moment."
"You and your cousin both have blue hair and you didn't know?" Issa chuckled.
"Yeah, I guess, I don't even know what she looks like, kinda spooky."
"It is." Issa agreed.
"I'll tell you the rest when we get back alright?" Marianna asked.
"Yeah sure, but I've got lots of questions auntie M."
"Best asked after a good meal, and call me auntie Maria."
When they arrived in Swansea Maria explained the area to them.
"Wow I can't wait to see Fendrod lake." Eren sounded excited.
"Tomorrow, Let's get inside so I can whip up some lasagne, I'm Italian so you can bet it'll be homemade."
No one argued, and a couple of hours later everyone was sat comfortably with a mug of mint cocoa steaming hot.
"First I want to show you pictures, here's the letter from your mother."
Eren took the envelope and pulled out the letter, reading it out for Issa.

Dearest Eren
Me and your stepfather have provided best we can for you and tried to help you live a normal life. You were never meant to be normal and that's a great thing. But your father left you to both of us because he is not normal either, just like your aunt Maria. If you're reading this then we're already dead and in Maria's care. When we say you aren't normal we mean you are otherworldly, this might sound silly, or that I was writing this in madness but I was not. Please listen to Maria and know you're not alone, find enclosed these photographs of me with your real father and Maria. I even have a video message for you to listen to so you know I'm always watching over you.
Your loving mother Megan. 6.12.2002

Eren looked at the pictures of her family together and smiled. Maria put the DVD on which showed Maria saying it was indeed her who wrote the letter and to know she always loved and was proud of her daughter.
Eren was welling up, and Issa was holding her.
"It's okay girl, let it all out." Issa hugged her gently.
When Eren was able to compose herself she asked. "What now?"
"You'll meet your father and your cousin soon, in the meantime I want to show you both what your mother meant by you not being normal."
"Yeah I'm transgender, can't get less 'normal' than that, plenty of people who don't like that, dangerous people."
"I always knew this and don't worry I won't turn on you, neither will your cousin. I told her about you, she's looking forward to meeting you. What I mean by you not being normal is...well come with me I'd rather show you."
Maria led them through the back garden to the fence, she unlocked it and gestured for them to go through.
"Where are we going?"
"Niece be patient darling, you'll soon see."
They walked towards a huge Alder tree in the middle of the field.
"Kneel before it." Maria got down and gestured for the other two to follow suit. "A prayer for the deity Bran and the Fields of Long Lament." Maria began to give praise in the Welsh tongue.
Eren looked at Issa who shrugged, Eren looked up to the top of the tree, a splash of water hit her between the eyes, she wiped it off and saw the droplet was a diluted red color.
Issa had noticed.
Maria got up. "Right then, I've given praise, what I want to show you next might be a lot to take in so try not to worry, follow me."
"Dare I ask?"
"No Eren, there's no words for this."
