"I sincerely Apologize for the long wait!" I heard Beans say over the loudspeaker, making me perk up. "The airship will be arriving at its destination shortly." I pumped my fist into the air. "HECK YEAH!" I got off the floor and scrambled to the window, looking out to see Trick Tower.

We landed on the floor, me grouping together with my friends. "Yo." I said, suprising Gon as he turned around to face me, a bright smile on his face. "Good morning (Y/n)!" Beans suddenly cleared his throat. "BEANS MY BABY-" Killua put his hand over my mouth "Shush."

"Everyone, this is the site of the Hunter Exam's Third Phase. You'll be competing here at the top of the Trick Tower."

"Did you say trick tower?" 'I swear the people here are deaf or something. And thats offensive to deaf people..🙄 is it that hard to listen.'

"In order to pass this phase, you must reach the base of this tower alive. The time limit is seventy two hours." Beans said happily. "And with that, the Exam's Third Phase will now begin." Beans raised his small hands up. "Good luck to eatch and every one of you!"

"I hope we dont have to climb down. That would be suicide."

Kurapika said, peering over the edge along with the rest of us. "For you guys." A guy who didnt even have a name said. "For an expert rock climber like me, this is gonna be a piece of cake." He grunted, climbing down the walls of trick tower. I rolled my eyes. "Dumb move. 5...4...3...2...1..." I counted, a creature swooping down and eating the man once my counting reached 1.

"Uh, so I guess we can't climb down." Leorio said in a shaky voice as I laughed, "Ya think?" I then walked over and tried to find the trapdoors, by pushing my foot on the ground.

"Kurapika! Leorio! (Y/n)!" Gon yelled, getting my attention along with the other too. I skipped over to them, "What is it, Gon?" Kurapika asked. "Look at this. We found a trap door. Check it out!" He pushed his hand into the ground and it sunk slightly, rising back up as he pulled away. "I see, so the only way that we can reach the lower levels is by turning over these stones."

"Ookay! Good job!" Leorio chuckled while patting Gon on the shoulder. "Now what do you say we head on down?"

"Okay, but I'm sort of confused." Gon said. "Why?" Leorio tilted his head. "Theres one, and another, and another, and another, and another one right there. There's a lot of them."

"That many?" Leorio asked, gaping. "Yessir, just enough for all of us." I said, smiling. "Five hidden doors located in the same area... Sounds a bit suspicious. No doubt a few of them are traps." "From what I can tell, each of these trap doors can only be used one time." Killua said. "Seriously?" Leorio gasped.

"Judging by the doors size, only one applicant can go through them at a time." Kurapika concluded. "Which means, only one person can use eatch door. It's beggining to look like we're all gonna have to split up" Killua said. "We decided that we'll each pick a door, and see how it goes."

I nodded and put my hand on a trap door. "Aight, catch you on the flipside, tell my mom I love her if I accidentally get trapped in the upside down. Peace out." I said, falling through a trap door. I landed on my butt, making me hiss in pain as I flattened out my haori and walked silently over to the wall to see bracelets. I whistled and picked one up and snapped it on my wrist, notcing there were five other bracelets on the small table.

"Three!" I heard loud thumping noises, turning around to see all of them on the floor, Leorio having a bump on his head.

"Wait, what?" Leorio said, Gon and Killua laughed after seeing eatchother and Kurapika said "That was certainly a breif farewell." "No kidding! Oh hey (Y/n)'s here too!"

I nodded, pointing at the bracelets. "Y'all should get one."

They nodded, walking to the wall I was standing near and snapping their bracelets on, leaving one bracelet left. "Hey look at this! 'The 6 who drop into this chamber, must find their way down together by consensus of the majority."

"Wait, 5?" Leorio questioned. I let out a large groan and layed face down on the floor. "Leave me here to die. I don't want him joining." "Who?" "Look, they even left us five wrist timers." Gon pointed to the bracelets.

"With buttons marked X and O." Killua put his on. "Do you think its possible that we won't be able to leave this room at all until someone else drops in and joins us down here?" Kurapika asked, turnng to face Gon and Killua.

"Very good!"

"WHO'S THERE-!?"

"My name Is Lippo! I'm the prison warden here, not to mention, your examiner for the Third Phase of the exam." Lippo said in his usual, annoying voice. "Did he say prison warden?" Kurapika asked. 'WILL YALL PLS GET UR EARS CHECKED OMG'

"We've gone to the trouble of preparing multiple routes through the Tower, and the one you've chosen is the path of majority rule."

I banged my head on the floor, hoping Tonpa wouldnt be the one joining us.

"If you want to pass, and I'm sure you do, co-operation is the essence of success. One person acting selfishly could derail the entire group-" at this, I glanced at Leorio who didnt notice my gaze. "-And of course you won't be permitted to start until you have six members. Thats it, gentlemen-!"

"HEY!"

"A-and lady! Best of luck!"

2 hours later

I let out another groan, nodding my head while staying in the face-on-the-floor position. "Cheer up (Y/n)! Im sure somebody will find a trapdoor soon!" Gon smiled and gave me a head pat, making me flip over. "Someone will find us alright, and it's gonna be none other than-"

Tonpa then fell down. "..Tonpa."

"Wow, good grief!" Tonpa rubbed the back of his head. Kurapika just looked at me, thinking in his head, '..how'd she know?'

"Oh great, look who it is." Killua deadpanned. Tonpa put on his bracelet.

I looked down at my time watch thing, and saw the time we had. 'pfft- 69 hours-'

The wall behind us suddenly opened, all of us stepping out and seeing two paths.

"At this door, select O to open, and X not to open!" Gon said. I immediantly pressed O. Everyone else did too, besides one fat weasel.

"WHO PRESSED X!?"

"Sorry my bad! I guess I pressed the wrong button." Tonpa fessed up, rubbing the back of his head nervously. "Stop screwing around, old man! What, are you blind or something!?" I just turned away, not caring much about Leorios outburst.

"I said it was just an honest mistake."

After deciding to go right, I naruto ran out to the path where we would then meet the prisoners of trick tower, not before smelling the familiar smell of demons, making me feel extremely uneasy. This not going unnoticed by a certain not-yet-chain user.
