"Is everything alright, (Y/n)?" Kurapika said suddenly, eyeing me as if I was being suspicious. "Everything...Is fine." I said in a harsh tone, glaring at a certain prisoner. "Where the hell are we?" Leorio asked, Killua pointing at the other side of the makeshift arena in response. "See that, over there?"

"The applicants are here. Unlock my handcuffs." One of the six prisoners said, probably addressing it to Lippo. Handcuffs fell off the orange-skinned guy, (Trump?) and fell to the floor, as the guy pulled his hood off.

The guy walked out of the dark, "Now then, lets get down to buisness." "to defeat, the huns-" I let out a loud laugh as I saw the man. "PFFT- BAHBAHAHA I can't tell if he's Trump or if he's Dwayne The Rock Johnson 😭" the guy just stared at me, unamused look present on his face.

Leorio, disregarding my comment, gasped. He was obviously scared of the guy, "Jeez dude at least put on a poker face stop making us seem like wimps omfg." "HEY-"

"Gentlemen, i- uh- and lady..Let me explain." Lippo voiced over the loud-speaker. "You've probably already noticed that some of the prisoners of Trick Tower are standing before you."

"They're prisoners?" Kurapika asked, everyone (Besides me) looking forward, confused. "Not just prisoners. The Hunter Exam Committee has also offically hired them on as examiners. In this phase, you'll be fighting against all five of them. The fights will be one-on-one, with eatch person fighting only once." Lippo explained. "Use any style you like. There will be no draws. To be declared the victor, your opponent must admit defeat." Lippo announced, making everyone gasp slightly

"You can decide which of you will be the first contender." Trump- I mean The rock- I mean the prisoner said. "And this is majority rule, which means you have to secure three wins in order to pass." He said. "The rules are simple."

Leorio put his hands on his hips, letting out a sigh. "I'm getting real tired of this." Killus shrugged. "Meh, seems pretty straightforward to me." I nodded, "Yeah unless you're an idiot." I glared at Leorio slightly, getting an angry expression back.

"I understand. We're on the clock, and if we don't reach the goal of getting out of here in 72 hours, we fail." Kurapika said, looking down at his time watch. "So as you're fighting, remember: time is of the essence." I nodded, giving a look of determination, and glaring at the prisoner that smelled of demons once again.

"Okay, I'm fighting whoever's first. Now, who's it gonna be?" The orange man said. "Now what? He said to fight however we want, so I'm guessing that pretty much means anything goes." Killua said. I let out a hum, "We should be careful, who knows what they'll do. I mean, if I was in their position, id do anything possible to try and reduce my sentence." I said, peering at all of my friends, and tonpa, for a moment and looking back to the prisoners.

Kurapika nodded in my direction. "Without knowing what's up their sleeves, there's far too much at stake. Given that, I'll-"
Tonpa interupted, "No, I'll go." I groaned at this, flopping onto the floor. "Don't let him go he'll screw it up." I said, everyone giving me a look. Tonpa gulped, remembering the time I threatened him before speaking up again, "No..I wont. I'll be the guinea pig; see if I can figure out what they're up to." He said, trying not to make eye contact with me.

"Consider it an...Apology for earlier." he glanced at me then looked back at the prisoner. "Hold on, you're serious?" Leorio asked. "Don't let him go. Don't do it." I said, still facing the floor. "If you dont want me to go, why don't you do it?" Tonpa asked with an angry, forced smile on his face. "No can do, walrus looking guy. I have a bone to pick with one of those prisoners, and I have to be the one to kill it." I said with an angry glare on my face as I hoisted myself off the ground.
