Chapter twenty one

Jack's POV

We were just about to kiss when I heard a noise in the bushes. I turned my head away for a second looking around to see the source of the noise but there was no one. I turned back around and saw Elsa looking down and biting her lip. "Excuse me." She mumbled and fled the garden. "Elsa wait!" I hear myself shout. I tried to run after her but she was to fast. I sat down on the ledge of the fountain and buried my head in my hands. I had ruined it. We were so close to kissing and then I turned my head. She must think that I don't like her now. But I don't, I love her with all of my heart. And now I lost her. Maybe forever. I don't know. Wait, the ball was tonight! I could win her back then! Yes! I ran to my bedroom and got changed into my new tuxedo. I went down the hall to the library and spoke to Brooke and she just so happened to have some dew specked white roses in her room. Crazy huh? I then went to the kitchens and got a box of chocolates for her. I made my down the hall and took a deep breath. Now, time to win Elsa back.

Brooke's POV

I went into my room and grew a couple of white roses and sprayed them with a bottle of water I kept handy. There we go. I then gave them to the master and was about to get ready for the ball when. I heard whimpering out in the gardens. Maybe it's Luna I thought. I went outside and there in the moon light was a black Labrador retriever. I held out my hand for him to sniff and then I went over and picked him up, giving him a cuddle. I then took him inside. "Chip!" I called. When I got no reply I went to the kitchens.He was there pounding out dough for pies. I smiled. "Guess what I got for you?" He looked at me. "Please don't say it's another cat?" I grinned. "Nope! But close!" I then held out the little puppy. "Tada! What do you want to name him? I was thinking maybe Inigo Montoya!" He raised an eyebrow. "Inigo Montoya? But his father wasn't killed by a six fingered man. I was thinking shadow." I smiled. "Shadow it is! Let's see if him and Luna get along." I gently placed little Shadow down next to her. They sniffed each other and then Luna rubbed her tiny body against his front leg and purred. Chip and I grinned at each other. "No one tell the master!" Mrs. Potts said bustling by and giving my a quick pinch on my cheek. I smiled wider. "Don't worry, we won't." She sighed. "Had a small scrape earlier with Luna. He came in asking for chocolates and I had to hide Luna underneath a saucepan. She was a good girl though and kept quiet." I reached down and stroked my kitty muttering good girl to her. "Oke doke, I have to get changed for the ball. Bye!" I then gave Chip a quick kiss on the cheek and Mrs. Potts and hug. I picked up Luna and made my way to my room. "Alright Luna, let's get ready for the ball!" I tied a purple and gold ribbon around her neck and then I started to get ready. I slipped the gorgeous purple dress over my head and went to my jewelry box. I pulled out the small purple necklace I had bought and out it on. Then straightening my skirt I took a breath and walked out leaving Luna with a few flowers to play with. Time for the ball! I thought the most magical night of my life. Boy was I ever wrong.

Okay! Hi guys! I have given you another update. I also have been postponing the end for as long as I can. We are on the final two chapters guys. I will be doing an epilogue and a sequel though, so do not worry! Alright, I am going to save the mushy stuff and not check the daily number. I will update tomorrow.
