Chapter nine

Elsa's POV

Well, after Babette left Brooke came rushing in again. "Hi Elsa! This is Chip! He's new!" He started to say something. "Isn't she the-" but was cut off by Brooke's hand. "So thanks for your time Elsa Bye!" And she rushed out the door. Why was everyone in this castle trying to hide something from me? I don't know but I have a feeling it has something to do with Jack. Speaking of the man here he is stepping out of the shadows. Man he is- stop it Elsa! He kidnaped you for Pete's sake! He just simply said hello. I returned the greeting. Soon, we had run out of things to say so We simply just stared at each other in silence. I had a feeling we were being watched. Jack cleared his throat. "So, um, what do you like to do for fun?" I was shocked. Was he actually trying to be nice? "Well, I like to read, ice skate, and write." He then nodded and disappeared again. I guess it was a fantasy that I thought he was actually being nice. Oh well, I guess I will explore to keep my mind busy. This would actually make a good book.

Brooke's POV

As I ran around the palace with Chip I couldn't help but notice how cute he was. His shaggy blonde hair hung in all the right places on his forehead, his blue eyes sparkled, and his little chipped tooth was adorable! I think I am developing a crush on him. When we finally stopped because I had run out of people to introduce him to I said good bye and started to leave to go to my maid duties when Chip grabbed my wrist. "Wait! I have something I want to ask you." I was confused. What did he want? He took a deep breath and said quickly. "Willyougooutwithme?" Wait, was he trying to ask me out? I literally could my heart thumping so loud. I guess the master wasn't the only one in love. "Chip, of course! I would love to." "Really! Uh, I mean cool. meet me in the library at midnight." I acted cool until I turned the corner. Then I totally freaked out doing the most awkward victory dance in the history of mankind. I couldn't stop thinking. I have a boyfriend. I went to do my maid duties but , then I heard someone behind me.

Jacks POV

I watched the new servant and Brooke talk. I was about to yell at them to get to work but then Brooke walked away and did the most awkward dance ever. The boy ran down the hall screaming. "She said yes!" So loud that the whole palace could hear. So I went over to Brooke. She turned around startled and when she saw me broke in to a deep curtesy. I asked her. "What did that boy ask you." She bit her lip and twirled her pinkie. "Well, he asked me if I wanted to go out with him, and I said yes." So that was how it was done. "Well, I need you as a counselor right now. What do I do to get Elsa to like me? I know she likes to skate, read, and write so what do I do?" "Well, you have ice powers right? You could freeze over a lake and take her skating and hold her close, or you could bring her to the library, those are some things she would like." An idea came to me. "Brooke, I have a new task for you. You are to find out as much information about Elsa as possible. Then you are to tell me ideas of what I can do with that stuff to make her love me. Got it?" She replied. "Yes master." Then I went to go and freeze a lake over.
