Chapter eight

Jacks POV

No, it can't be! I thought I had no heart! But Brooke has never been wrong before about this kind of thing I mean she reads so much of it! I paced around the room wondering what to do. I wanted to ask someone what I should do. Then I thought a horrible thought. What if she hates me! She did call me a monster the other day. I grabbed the nearest servant and yanked him in. He was a small blonde boy with a chipped tooth. "You boy, tell me what I need to do to get a girl to like me?" The boy said. "Oh well theirs the usual, flowers, candy, promises you don't intend to keep. Just get to know what she likes! When you find out do something special with the information! I don't know!" This boy had good ideas. I decided to promote him to a secret advisor when I needed him. Now, just to get to know Elsa.

Chips POV

Phew! Glad I got out of that office when I did! Not a very good first day at the palace. I pity the girl he loves. I guess I wasn't paying attention to where I was going cause I bumped into someone and we both fell to the ground. "Ouch!" Said a girls voice. I looked up to see a curtain of wavy brown hair curtaning a face of a girl who looked about my age. Helped her up I mumbled apologies to her while handing her back the book she dropped. Her hair parted and I saw two soulful brown eyes and pale white skin, like it had never seen the sun. She laughed as I helped her up. "You must be new here. I can tell because on my first day here I was so engrossed in my surroundings I bumped into almost everyone!" I smiled. This girl was pretty, and had a great personality. She stuck out her hand. "I'm Brooke by the way. Nice to meet you." I took th hand and shook it. "Chip" She took my hand and started tugging me. "Come on! I need to introduce everyone! And spread the word that the master's in love with Elsa!" So I finally knew the name of that poor girl. I just laughed and ran with her. I saw a tall man standing in front of the painting of a girl swinging. Brooke called out to him. "Lumiere! Did you finish! Oh, and this is Chip. He's new." They hugged. And he patted me on the back. "Welcome to the palace Chip. I am Lumiere." Then he whispered I. My ear. "She loves to read." I silently thanked him for that bit of advice. Soon we were rushing down the corridors again.

Elsa's POV

I liked Brooke she was cute. And I could tell her and Babette were very close. They were talking about something outside my room. I decided to pick up a book and I started to read. Bad book choice. It was Allegiant. I quickly put it down and picked up Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Ahh, much better. Soon I had reached a funny part where Dudleys tongue had grown a foot when Babette came back in. "So, what was that all about?"I asked. She quickly replied. "Oh, just wondering where Lumiere was." I get the feeling she was lying but why?
