Chapter fifteen

Elsa's POV

I ran outside with Brooke on the way to the village when i felt something hit my back. It was a snowball. I turned around and saw Brooke standing there with a small pile of snowballs at her feet. It is so on. I made a huge snowball over my heaad. Her eyes widened and she quickly made a wall of violets and roses. "No fair!" I yelled and made an ice wall. She threw more snowballs at me but they all bounced off. Soon she collapsed on the ground. "I yield!" She shouted. I sat down next to her. "so, how did you get your powers? Do you know?" She looked down at her hands. "No actually, I think I got it from one of my parents, like I got my love of reading. I try so many times to remember what they look like, but the image never comes. I just wish I knew them better. I wonder what my life would be like if I hadn't been taken these ten years." I put a comforting arm around her. I then told her the story of my life. Her eyes widened. "Wow, I wonder what it is like to have a sister like that..." She trailed off. Her eyes widened. "I remeber something! I had a twin sister! Her name was Angel! I can't remeber anything more though." I smiled at her. "Well, at least that's something. I bet she was really nice. Do you know if she's dead?" She shook her head. "I think she was taken by Pitch to be his slave. He might have killed her since she did not do something right. I hope she is alive though." I smiled at her. "Me to. Now come on let's go to the village and find some dresses."

Angel's POV

I scurried down the dark hallways of the castle to Master Pitch's study. I felt my heart pump with fear. I hoped Brooke broke the curse over Jack soon. Then I would be freed. I arrived at his study and he was very mad. I saw Talia with a bloody nose and a probab,y broken leg trembeling before him. I felt almost all of my joy sucked out of me. He had that effect on everyone. I suppressed the tears I wanted to cry as I thought of my father. I had his copper hair and my mothers hazel eyes. They were still alive, their souls were just trapped in a jar that sat on Master Pitch's desk. I quickly went over to him and asked what he wanted. "S-sir, w-what do you need?" He roared. " Bring me the fear globe and Gothel. I need them to help terminate Elsa." I rushed out to f the room and to his throne room and grabbed the globe. It weighs practically nothing and then I rushed to Gothels room. She was practically baring her face in make-up. A/N Hi guys my cousin Willow shall be joining us as Brooke's guardian angel. Thank you now, back to Angel. She turned around and snarled. "What do you want you little rodent?" I took the insult and said. "Master Pitch wants to see you." Her deep blue eyes lit up and she gave a small smile and laugh. "So my little Pitcy-Witchy wants to see me? I am coming!" I then rushed down the hall into the study, where master Pitch sat. I placed the fear globe on his desk and then Gothel was swished in, in a puff of red silk. He gave a tight forced smile. "Ahhhhh! Gothel, my darling!" He gave her a kiss but it had no feeling. He then turned and curtly said to me. "Leave you insolent pest." I curtsyed to them and quickly left. I went back to my small bedroom that i shared with twelve other people. It was empty of anything but a small silver music box. This was mine. It was a small silver rose with a topaz in the middle inside a glass jar. The one thing master Pitch could not take from me. It had a charm on it so only family could touch it and it was unbreakable and very powerful. I turned the handle and let the soothing melody wash over me, calming my fears.

Come little children I'll take thee away, into a land of enchantment. Come little children, the time's come to play. Here in my garden of shadows.

I always loved that tune for some reason. It seemed familiar and yet, so distant. "Break the spell soon sis, I'm not sure I can hold on much longer.
