Chapter twenty four

Jack's POV

I saw my father talking with Brooke. Elsa tried to walk away but my father grabbed her and put a knife to her throat. No, he's taking my light away! I can't let that happen! "That is it father! Let her go!" "And what will you do if I don't? Fight me? Don't make me laugh. " He replied. I went into a fighting position, holding my staff out in front of me. "Try me." Brooke came to my side. "I am sooo done with living in your shadow. It's time for this little girl to grow up!" Chip joined her. "You have treated people like nothing for way to long. Whatever she does I do!" The ballroom melted away as a black large gym replaced it. Pitch stood on a pedestal in the middle, Elsa in a cage behind him. Brooke quickly went over to the cage and tried to unlock it but father shot a black arrow at her. She dodged it. "Unuh, oh no you did not just do that. You are so getting it now." She crouched down and touched the ground. Father laughed. "What is the poor little baby girl gonna do? Kick me?" She smirked. "No, just my birthright." And huge thick vines shot out of the ground and wrapped around Pitch's arms. Wait what! Brooke had powers this whole time. Pitch's mouth dropped open as Brooke picked the lock. Elsa sprang free. Seeing this father struggled and broke the vines holding him. Elsa ran over and joined us. "Jack!" She said hugging me tightly. She then turned around. "Time to pay you jerk." She shot spikes of ice at him, which he dodged. I grasped my staff more tightly. I flew up and shot ice at him. He dodged that to. Chip then stepped forward with a pair of scissors. "Oh! Scissors! Let me throw them!" Brooke said grabbing one. She chucked it straight at Pitch's heart, and stuck there. He just laughed. "You can't harm what doesn't have a heart!" Suddenly Shadow came bounding out. Chip called out. "Shadow! Go back to the kitchen before you get hurt!" Pitch just laughed. "Why don't we show them the real you." He said swiping a hand over him. He grew larger and larger until he was a wolf made out of black sand. It charged straight at Chip, clamping his jaw around his leg. "NO!" Brooke cried out trying to get the wolf away but her attempts were useless. Chip was losing blood, fast. Brooke finally managed to get Shadow away and rushed to his side. "Chip! Please! Stay with me! Your the only family I have! I can't lose you!" Chip didn't respond. Brooke picked up his hand, which had gone limp. She cradled his head. "Say something I'm giving up on you." She sang weeping. "I'll be the one if you want me to. Anywhere I would have followed you. So say something I'm giving up on you." Her tears feel on his face. "Oliver. That is my real name. I need you to be strong when I'm gone. I will always love you and watch over you."  He said before drawing his final breath. "So say something." Brooke sang as his eyes glazed over. 

Elsa's POV

I wanted to run over and hug her but then Pitch laughed. "What a petty little display, aw, does little Brooke miss her Chippy wippy?" He said laughing harder. Brooke jumped up. Her apperance had changed. Her eyes were a deep shade of green and she was radiating pink light. She pushed Pitch back with that light. Pitch looked frightened now. "W-what are you." She smiled. "I'm a beast, you can call me karma. You ripped my heart out now your a goner. Be careful try not to lead me wrong. I will break you now cause my power's so strong. You may be afraid if you meet me. And you better not tease me. I'm great at magic but if you break my heart I turn cold as a freezer. My fairytale ending put a knight in shining armor I ain't your sleeping beauty you don't put me in a coma. Ready for another cause it's coming fast Now I don't care. I'll ride you like a roller coaster cause you ended my affair. My power's like a drug you try to hit and quit it but the power's so dope you messed around and got addicted." She rapped as thicker vines with thorns shopt out of the ground and around him. He cut them but they grew back fast. He freed one of his arms then the other but he couldn't get his body free. "I will always come back as long as I have him on my side!" Pitch screamed and pointed at Jack. "Now i just have to eliminate the only chance that he will ever be good again!" He screamed and shot an arrow straight at my heart. "NO! Not my light!" JAck screamed as he jumped in front of me. The tip of the arrow pierced his heart. He feel to the ground, barely alive.  "No no no no! I can't lose you! Jack please don't go away. I love you." Jack gave a weak smirk. "I love you to. i'm sorry i never said it. I was just afraid that you hated me. Good bye Elsa." He said as his eyes started to fade. Before he was gone I had to do it. It would be our first and last but I wouldn't care. I kissed him. He kissed me back weakly. Suddenly the arrow melted away. "No!" Pitch screamed. "It isn't possible!" A large, black snowflake rose out of his chest. His black hair turned white, his breathing became regular, and his eyes popped open.  Instead of being navy they were cyan. My voice cracked. "Guardian? Is it really you?" He looked into my eyes which were full of tears as I wept. He took my face in his hand. "Yes Elsa, it is me. I'm sorry I was so late coming back, but I had a little situation. I always did love you and now I will till the end of time." And he kissed me I wrapped my hands around his neck as he picked me up. Brooke sadly smiled at us, her eyes back to normal and no glow was radiating around her anymore. "I'm glad your curse is broken jack. Now, you better go tell the other guardians that. "Brooke!" three voices called out. There was Angel and two grown ups there. "Mom? Dad?" Brooke asked her voice shaking. They all ran up and hugged her. "You did it sis. We're all free. Pitch was still struggling against the vines. "Hold on a sec. i need to finish something." She said breaking away from the hug. She then went over and slapped Pitch. Then she pulled out a sledgehammer and brutaly beat him. "There, all done." She then went over to her family. They all hugged again. I went over to them and intrduced myselfto her mother. "i'm Elsa." She hugged me. "Thank you for taking such good care of our daughter.  I am Belle and this is my husband Adam." I smiled. "it was no problem. She is a great girl."
