The man stopped in his tracks, intrigued that such a young boy had the courage to protect the older male. Jungwon stood between them, throwing a knife to his left where Sunghoon laid against the wall, bounded once again.

"A child?" He took steps closer, taking out his bolas.

"And bolas? You're out of date for someone your age." Jungwon pulled out his gun from its holder.

"Are you not ashamed of the man you're protecting? Trembling like a weak bunny he is, hiding from its predator as it asked for mercy?" The man's words etched into Doyoung's mind as he unknowingly released the gun in his hands. The sound of it clattered onto the floor, taking Jungwon's attention. The man took the advantage of the distracted boy.

The younger leader could see in the corner of his eyes, dodging the thrown weapon before getting on his knees, switching to his bladed weapons. The gloves on his hands retracted sharp blades. You could say they were trying to reincorporate a feline weapon; Jake and Sunoo had been inventing recently, trying new gears and gadgets with close combat.

Jungwon wasn't really looking forward to them, reminding of his deceased childhood friend but the older had once said that these blades were made to cut through thick wires. It may look thin, but the sharpness and heat coloring against each other shall cut. The youngest of the team was trusting in his memorable friend's words.

Sunghoon felt his chest tighten once he saw those gloves.

{I-I suggest you start cutting.} Taehyun informed the younger. TChXosT was well aware of their open-hearted friends, Taehyun too, was reminded of his Australian friend.

Both Johnny and Jaehyun were built well and effective with close combat fights. Even if it was just two against one swordsman, the elder man seemed slick against their tactics.

"I can sense the fear within you guys." They began, pushing Jaehyun away from him.

"So what?" Jaehyun said in a stern tone.

"The boy reminds you three someone, correct? Don't worry, I too, recognize the boy's face well enough."

"You speak nonsense." Johnny fired his bullets. What is this man trying to imply?

"A man who used to control over me." The swordsman chuckled bitterly. "That man... you said his name. Why must you bring such morbid memories?"

Johnny and Jaehyun stopped in their tracks. They stared at the man closely. Somewhere deep within their guts, he seemed familiar. They couldn't bring it to the tip of their fingers, sadly.

"I wonder if you were those kids..." The man ranted, faltering his defenses. Johnny was the first to take advantage, jumping the man and throwing the sword away. A gun pressed against his forehead.

THUD!

Jungwon hit the walls of the staircase, a pained noise leaving his mouth. A trickle of blood slid down the side of his forehead, covering his left eye. The boy constantly wiped the red fluid from keeping his vision out of sight.

"J-Jungwon..." Doyoung was terrified, a frantic mess.

"Sh*t..." Jungwon cursed as the man walked closer to the older. The claws have been a succession, knowing well enough that ninety-percent of Jake's or Sunoo's statements were accurate. He hated if he dissed their smartest members of the seven. But their durability wasn't as strong as he hoped, breaking at the sixth thrown weapon.

It was all happening too fast. The man stood in front of the quivering male who breathed in a fastened pace, hands and legs shaking violently once his back touched the cold wall. His eyes watered tears that threatened to slip. The sight amused the taller man in front of him, reaching his hand and touching the soft cheeks of Doyoung's face. Streaks of tears pooled down his face, trying to slap the enemy's hand away before it moved to grasp his slender neck. The boy against the wall let out a pained sob while he gripped tightly onto the man's arms.
