Just a little info. I will be trying start every chapter with an uncommon word and its meaning and end each chapter with a quote. The words will be the name of the chapters, their meanings will be the very first thing I write in italics, and the quotes will be the very last thing I write in bold and italics. •3rd Person pov•

"Why can't she stay here? We can protect her!"

"No! You saw what happened today. She almost died, we can't protect her here! She needs to leave."

Dion was trying to convince his sons to say goodbye to their little sister. Their car was recently bombed and they just barely got her out of her car seat. Dion and Astra decided it was time to give her up for her own safety. But their sons, however, were very much against the idea.

Meanwhile, Winter was taking a nap and cuddling with her twin brother, Wonder. The 2 were inseparable, always together every minute of the day.

"We have to make her hate us. Be rude to her, don't be the caring older brothers you usually are with her." Their mother said sadly. Dion and Astra thought it to be a good idea to all of sudden make it seem like they hate her. They wanted to make her hate them so she could forget about them and live her life.

"No! There is no way in hell I'm going to make my little sister think I hate her. I'd rather die before I ever do that." Their eldest son, Lorenzo stated. It was true. He'd rather die before he hurt his sister intentionally, before he hurt any of his siblings intentionally. They argued for what seemed like hours, but in the end, they made a compromise. They wouldn't hurt Winter in any way, but they would give her up for her safety.

Lorenzo went to his youngest siblings' room and saw his little sister and brother stir before they both woke up. Even though he may only be 6 years old, Wonder knew what was happening. He didn't want his twin to leave at all. He practically begged his mother and father to let him go with her. He didn't win that battle.

Lorenzo picked up the two 6 year olds and brought them downstairs. Winter's belongings have already been packed. He put them on the floor when they reached the front door and bent down to their height.

"Winter. Baby. You know I love you, right?"

She nodded.

"And you know that anything and everything I ever do is to keep you safe, right?"

She nodded again.

"Tesoro, you're going to have to go away for a long time. You won't be able to see us for a very long time. But you have to do this so you can be safe."

Her eyes started to become glossy.

"But-but Enzo. I on't wanna go away." She said in her little baby voice that broke her 18 year old brother's heart.

"I know baby, I know. But you have to. I'm not doing this to hurt, I'm doing this because it's my job to protect you. I will come back for you my love. I swear to you. You just have to wait for me. Can you do that for me?"

"I'll wait for you Enzo. Pwomise. No matter how wong it takes."

"Thank you μωρό." He said back and hugged her with all his might, tears falling from his eyes.
