"Where are we going?" Amaris asked Lexer as they run away. "There's nowhere to hide, if you want me to say the truth." Lexer answered. "What? Then, what now?" Amaris said, worried and they stopped on their tracks. "I need your approval of this. This is the best plan I can come up with." He said while looking around, searching for possible enemies.

"Go on. Say it. We don't have much time." Trace of panic is seen on her face. "We go far away from here." He suggested. "Okay, sure but, we cannot go somewhere so fast now, even if we shift forms. They are probably after me now!" Amaris said.

"Follow me back to the pack. I don't want to use force today. So, just obey." The ever cold and new chief huntress, Kiara, appeared, walking towards the two. "Hm, nothing changed, Kiara. You're still a very sneaky wolf." Lexer said.

Kiara didn't even furrow her eyebrows or move just a bit. "Listen, i'm not going back there. You won't get an information out of me even if you take me back to the pack." Amaris growled. "I don't really care if you would say something or not as we get there. The queen will decide, not me. I'm merely capturing you and returning you to her." Kiara said, her face kept on emitting the cold energy. "I said, no." Amaris said, angrily.

"Sorry for eavesdropping but, where exactly would you live right now? I overheard that you have nowhere to go. Basically, just running to nowhere. Isn't the pack enough of a shelter?" Kiara asked. "Shelter? More like a prison! Dungeon, if you have one." Amaris scoffed. "She's not going anywhere. Let's go." Lexer said, grabbing Amaris.

But as he turned around to go the other way, Kiara is already facing him with the same expressionless face but with a glowing gold eyes and stripes. "Step down, Lexer. This one's mine." Kiara said, boldly. "I can take care of her." Lexer argued. "Not when the queen asks of her." Kiara argued back. "You don-"

Lexer was about to speak but as quick as a blink, Kiara's dagger is right on his throat. "Keep on resisting and you'll leave me no choice but to use force in a brutal way." Kiara said. Though her expression and words are cold, she delivered it in a powerful way that Amaris regrets that she stood against her.

"Fine. I'm coming with you but leave him." Amaris said, trying to sound brave enough. "I wish I could but that's not what's going to happen. Let the queen decide what to do with him." Kiara kept the dagger inside its scabbard. "But-" "NOT A SINGLE WORD. She's coming with me." She snapped. "Not without a fight!" Lexer said and tackled Kiara.

Lexer and Kiara began fighting each other. Lexer told Amaris to run but she insisted not to go anywhere without him. However, it wasn't long when she submitted to Lexer's command. She shifted on her wolf form and ran away. Kiara got even more stronger and quicker, knocking Lexer down, unconscious, when she saw Amaris running away. "Amaris is the target, she must not escape." Said Kiara in her mind. She shifted and began running towards Amaris.

She caught on Amaris' pace. Kiara warned her by growling but Amaris kept running. Kiara ran faster, a skill where she's exceptional when she's in her wolf form. She bit Amaris' leg hardly, making Amaris stumble down. The two shifted back to their human forms."Let me go!" Amaris growled. "Resisting so much. I have to knock you unconscious." Kiara said before hitting Amaris on the back of the head, hard enough to make her unconscious.

Kiara carried Amaris on her shoulder and brought her to the queen.

"Here she is. Do what you will to her." Kiara placed her down. "Hm. She's wounded." The queen examined. "I had no choice but to hurt her. The target resisted and she's with a rebel Lycan, Lexer. I knocked him off." Kiara reported. "I am really amazed that you don't seem so fazed with your brutality, dear Kiara." Delaneia chuckled but the chief huntress shows no emotion as usual.
