Time was ticking rather slowly for you since you weren't been able to concentrate for the past hour and a half. You clicked your pen from time to time, trying to listen to your professor's nasal voice as he gives out his lecture. Not to mention, you were still hungover from last night and your encounter with Wonwoo did not help at all. You sigh out frustratedly as you glance towards his direction right diagonally of you across the room; he was peacefully jutting down notes and seemed unbothered at all. You watch him jut down notes as he attentively paid attention to the lesson— just like the geek he is.

"Okay, that's it for today. Any questions?" Your professor's voice suddenly made you turn your head, thanking the heavens for finally ending the session. You couldn't concentrate one bit, not to mention, it was Math; you knew you were screwed.

The whole class mutters in unison, making the answer clear for the professor before he packs up and walks out of the classroom. You hurriedly pack your barely touched notebook on your desk as everyone starts to chatter up, meeting up with their friends before heading out for lunch. You get up and look around the classroom, looking for Wonwoo. You still had a lot of questions in your mind— and with the persistent person you are, you had to confront it.

You spot Wonwoo already walking out the door before you get a chance to walk out of your desk. His friends were still inside the classroom and you decide to approach the small circle, holding your bag's strap over your shoulder as you make your way towards them. You approach the person you had the most interaction with in the past— due to group works— so it wouldn't be as awkward.

"Hey, Soon-young." He turns around as you say, smiling cheerfully as you approached him.

"Y/N!" He says as his small group of friends wasn't really paying attention since they were engrossed in a conversation. "What's up?"

"Say... Would you happen to know where Wonwoo went?" You ask.

"Oh, his classes are over and he's heading over his part-time job," Soon-young said as he looked at you with a playful smirk, crossing his hands over his chest. "Looks like you've got unfinished business with my boy."

Did he know about Wonwoo's alter ego? I mean, he's his best friend— for all I know, you think to yourself before letting out a chuckle, "Well, it's more of like I wanted to apologize for the misunderstanding," You lie. "So, where does he work?"

"Y/N, where are you?" Hanna asked as you could hear the chattering of hungry students in the background; you knew they were in the cafeteria. "We're starving already."

"Go ahead," You say over the phone, already walking 2-3 blocks away from campus, "I just have some urgent matters to take care of."

"Urgent?" She asks as you turn right on the sidewalk, walking past people who were busy on their phones or minding their own business. "Alright fine, just make sure you don't leave me alone for our next class." She says.

"I'll tell you everything later, don't worry." You say as you stop in front of a small stairway, looking up to see if this was the place. "Cover-up for me in case I don't make it?"

"Fine." She says before saying bye, hanging up. You keep your phone in your tote bag as you climb up the shallow stairway, opening the glass door as you step into the cafe.

As you walk into the cafe, the aroma of coffee beans immediately filled up the air. You look around, admiring the cafe's modern interior; giving off a cozy vibe for anyone who would come. There was a mix of students, employees, and basically, anyone who would want to grab lunch— but it was already a couple of minutes to 1 PM, so it wasn't as busy as it would seem. You spot whom you exactly wanted to see, walking up to the cashier as he was busy talking to his manager; whom he seems to be on good terms with. You reached the counter, already ready to take out your wallet as you look at the menu from the side.
