Your study playlist fills in your room as it softly accentuates your typing over the keyboard for the past few hours. After you got back to your place, you were busying over the papers you ought yourself to work on as soon as you got off class; one could tell your productivity levels were peaking this afternoon and you were all focused.

But truth is, you weren't.

You'd find yourself glancing towards your phone that was charging right beside your laptop, then to your small digital clock that fit your study table nicely, matching the colors of your room. Admit it or not, you kept checking your phone just in case there were any notifications over the past few hours while writing your paper.

You lean against your chair as you let out a heavy sigh, running your fingers through your hair as your eyes avert towards Wonwoo's baseball cap on the far end of your desk.

You were undoubtingly waiting for Wonwoo's text.

Earlier, Wonwoo walked you home; it meant lying that he didn't have any class after the one you shared with him.

You shut your eyes closed as you laid back on your seat, feeling the butterflies in your tummy float around at the thought of a while ago. It has surely been a while-- after your dragging relationship and situation with Jung-- that you've felt this way.

"Calm down, self," you mumbled to yourself. "It's just a small, harmless attraction towards another person. How bad can a tiny crush go?"

You hear your phone vibrating against the surface of your study table, letting out a loud buzz despite the melody of your playlist filled the room. You feel a rush of adrenaline as you sit up swiftly, reaching towards your phone to see what notification it was.

'Unknown number: In need of a loan? We can lend you up to...'

You scoff. "Ugh."

You let out a frustrated sigh as you dropped your phone over the table, feeling a bit foolish with your reaction just now. You stand up, thanking the heavens that it was just you in your apartment.

A big reaction for just such a small crush, Y/N, your conscience mocked you.

"Was I really expecting a message from Wonwoo?" You mumble to yourself as you get up from your seat, stretching your back after straight hours of doing your papers. You try to put your mind off the thought of it, walking around your apartment but you find yourself approaching your small kitchen. "Maybe I should munch on something."

After a while of finding something to eat-- your favorite snacks that you always stock up on-- you head back to your room to grab your phone before swerving back out to the living room couch. Unconsciously, you still checked your notifications while glancing at the time on your phone's screen; it read 4:45 PM.

Just before you put down your phone to open your bag of snacks, your phone vibrates. You lift your phone without much thought; it was your group chat with Hanna and the rest.

Hanna: I finished my last class, where are you guys?

Sungho: I'm with Eun-kyung by the building entrance, we got off class a couple of minutes ago.

Heechul: Omw there

Usually, you'd type that you were by the library waiting for them but today was different. Suddenly the thought of Wonwoo popped inside your mind once again and you mentally kicked yourself.

"Gosh, Y/N. He just walked you home, why are you making it such a big deal?" You say with another sigh, stretching your neck right before you reply to the group chat.
