The Monday after midterms week came with a slap. College was definitely no joke; everyone expected the department or at least the professors to lighten the load from that heavy week but it was as if anything major didn't happen.

You stretch your neck, closing your laptop as the professor starts to wrap up his lecture. Beside you, Hanna was jutting down the remainder of the notes on the board that she hasn't copied yet while Eun-kyung was busy fiddling with her phone behind her laptop, playing a mini-game. Lunch break was in a few minutes and it did mean grabbing food and you let out a heavy sigh, not from the continuous yapping of the professor but this very one thought: you're seeing Wonwoo for the first time after last Friday.

Last Friday night was still so vivid in your mind. Wonwoo held your hand under the table while his friends were going on about random things, which made you try so hard not to act like it wasn't awkward. Wonwoo definitely didn't feel conscious, as if he was doing something he'd normally do-- also adding the fact that he was buzzed. The only time he let go was when he went to the washroom with Soon-young which left you with Minghao and the rest, finally conversing with them without feeling conscious.

Not long after, Wonwoo came out of the men's room saying that he kind of needed help carrying Soon-young out since he couldn't walk properly anymore. Seungcheol went to help them out as the rest of the guys and you called it a night.

You were conversing with Minghao and the rest outside the restaurant, waiting for Wonwoo, Seungcheol, and Soon-young to step out. The four of you turn your heads towards the restaurant door as it swings open, seeing Soon-young being guided by Wonwoo and Seungcheol on each side.

"Gosh, he didn't even want to walk out of the washroom," Seungcheol complained as he grunts, lifting drunk Soon-young's arm over his shoulders as they walked out.

"He even kept telling himself in the mirror that he was a tiger," Wonwoo added. He seemed like he sobered up a bit because of the need to take care of Soon-young.

"Typical him," Chan laughed as he clapped his hands together. "Even when he's not drunk, Y/N, he believes he's a tiger."

"He looks more like a hamster," you laughed along and Minghao agreed, giving you a high-five for your comment.

"We should get going, though. Soon-young's not an easy guy to take care of when drunk," Mingyu says as you guys agree, saying your farewells before you guys part.

"Wait, it's pretty late already. It's dangerous for a girl to walk home alone," Chan mentions as Mingyu and Minghao's faces light up.

"Oh shit, yeah," Mingyu says. "We can walk you home, Y/N."

"Oh! There's no need," you tell the guys as you lift your hands, making a polite gesture that you were declining their offer. Somehow, your eyes glance towards Wonwoo who was almost as if he and Seungcheol were giving Soon-young a pep talk, telling him to stay awake. "Besides, Soon-young's down bad. You guys should call it a day. Plus, I can walk home alone. My place is just around the area."

"That's fine, we three can walk you home. Wonwoo and Seungcheol can go ahead."

You glanced towards Wonwoo once again; he wasn't really paying attention to the conversation you were having with the others and how you'll go home. Actually, he never really batted an eye towards you after he held your hand.

Why do you keep glancing at Wonwoo, Y/N? Are you expecting him to walk you home as usual? You thought to yourself before glancing back to Mingyu.

"No, it's okay. I insist," you say with a smile. "I really live close by from here, plus Wonwoo's this close to crashing too," you say with a hand gesture. "It'll be hard for Seungcheol to carry the both of them."
