Everything around you went silent.

In fact, you even forgot that just a moment ago— you were frustrated with Wonwoo.

Wonwoo pulled his head back a bit as you slowly open your eyes; he pulled back just enough to look at you. He rested his forehead right on yours; it made you wonder if he could hear your heartbeat pounding. His hands didn't leave the sides of your face, as if he had something fragile in between the palm of his hands.

"Now," Wonwoo said quietly, his lips just inches away from yours. "Do you think I'm still all talk, Y/N?"

You found yourself lost in his deep brown eyes, feeling your face blush as he asked. You didn't know how to react— there was no way to escape the situation.

"That's not fair," you mumbled, averting your gaze to the side of the room to avoid his.

"What's not fair?" Wonwoo asked while one of his hands pushed the stray strands of your hair out of your face, tucking it behind your ear. "Tell me."

"You can't just kiss someone out of nowhere."

"I didn't kiss you out of nowhere. I warned you that I'd shut you up if you said another word and refused to calm down."

"Still, you can't just—"

Then again, before you even got a chance to finish your sentence, Wonwoo leans in and presses his lips against yours gently, cutting you off. He lifts his head after kissing you again. "You're really talkative."

You grow flustered, turning your head away from Wonwoo's face. It didn't really make a difference since Wonwoo's forehead was still resting against yours. "Because I'm serious!"

"What makes you think I'm not serious?" Wonwoo says as he gently pulls your face back, cupping your cheek. You meet his eyes once; you couldn't find the right words to answer him. One of his hands leaves your cheeks, finding its way to the nape of your neck. His fingers rest there, stroking his thumb behind your ear. "Answer me, Y/N. What makes you think I'm not serious?"

You just look straight into his eyes. What am I supposed to answer then? You tell me, you replied to him in your mind. His face was still close to yours and you couldn't answer him directly.

"Look," Wonwoo mumbled in his deep voice. He glanced down to your lips before looking back into your eyes. "Do you not like it?"

"That's not what I'm trying to say," you reply softly.

"If you don't like it, you know you can push me away, right?" Wonwoo says before you feel his face lean closer to yours once again. "You can slap me all you want. Hell, punch me if you want even."

His lips were already brushing against yours as he spoke. Wonwoo was centimeters away from you— you couldn't tell if he was teasing you at this point or just trying to see if you'd actually hit him.

Either way, a part inside you slapped you mentally. You had to give him an answer no matter what, right?

You found yourself pushing your head towards Wonwoo, giving his lips a soft, quick press against yours. You pull back, your eyes shyly looking down to your lap after your response while Wonwoo's hands were still there on your cheek and nape.

Wonwoo didn't expect that from you as well; he waited for you to lift your head to meet his eyes, but you never met his again. "Y/N—"

"Damn it, wasn't that enough of an answer?" You cut him off all flustered, slightly resting your head's weight onto Wonwoo's palm before your eyes looked up.

Before you knew it, Wonwoo leaned in to kiss you again.

And you kissed back.

You hear Wonwoo shift in his seat on the floor, pulling your face closer in as you felt your back press against the sofa behind you. You pulled your lips away from his for a moment, getting all flustered. "Wonwoo—"
