Chapter 16

"Put him down! That's too high!" Taehyung yelled, he was fuming. Jeongguk was throwing his son up and catching him in his arms. Hyuntae seemed to enjoy it very much, laughs and giggles escaping his small mouth. "Or what?" Jeongguk grinned, knowing Taehyung was worried for his son. "He enjoys it. Isn't that right Hyun?" Jeongguk asks, ticking said boy. The child let out a high-pitched laugh, a wide smile on his face. "I like it daddy! It's okay!" Hyuntae says, Jeongguk once again throwing him up and catching him.

"I have experience. Trust me." The mafia leader smirked, winking at Taehyung. Taehyung huffed, shaking his head. "Whatever." He said, going back to the blanket. They were at the park, Hyuntae wanting to spend time with his daddy and his daddy's friend, Hyuntae thinks. Taehyung agreed, having Jeongguk drive to the park since it was quite far away, too far to walk. Taehyung sat down, getting the lunch ready. It was like a date, but with a child tagging along. He hummed, looking at Jeongguk and Hyuntae and smiling at the two. He loved how Jeongguk didn't care he had a child, and he didn't question whose it was.

Well, Taehyung adopted the small child. He stole money from his mom, it was a rash decision but he didn't regret adopting Hyuntae. In fact, it was the best decision he's ever made in his entire life. He felt complete with his son. His son made everything better, everyone had smiles on their faces when Hyuntae was around. He loved it, Hyuntae's smile, his laugh, his puppy dog eyes. Everything was just so perfect. But, perfect things didn't last forever.

"Jeongguk! Bring Hyuntae to eat!" Taehyung says, smiling when Jeongguk looked at him. Jeongguk gave him a soft smile, nodding and bringing Taehyung's son to the blanket. He set Hyuntae down. "Ready to eat, love?" Taehyung asks, putting some food on a paper plate for Hyuntae. Hyuntae giggles, thanking his daddy and starting to eat.

Taehyung does the same for Jeongguk, and then himself. He ate, humming and watching his son. "Yo!!! Is that Taehyung?" A voice said, the three looking at the new voice. "Remember me?" The male asks, going up to them. "School?"

"Oh!" Taehyung says, standing up and greeting said male. "I remember." He says, a soft smile on his face. "We haven't seen each other in a while." Taehyung adds, the other nodding in agreement. "Yeah, four years." He said, before looking at the other two. "Boyfriend and son?" He asks, Taehyung shaking his head. "Not boyfriend, but yes son." Taehyung says, and the other smiles. "Your sons cute."

"Thank you." He says. "I'm actually busy right now but.." He mumbles, pulling out a card. "Here's my number. Let's catch up sometime." He said, before waving and walking off. Taehyung smiled, sitting back down. "Jongsikk." Taehyung says. "That's his name, we were really good friends in high school." Taehyung says.

Jeongguk hums, nodding. "That's nice." He said. "So..." He mumbles.

"Boyfriends?"
