Chapter 19

"Fuck! Get down everyone!"

"Shit—"

"How did this even happen?"

"They're coming! Everyone be ready!"

"Turn off the lights!"

"Quick! We can't wait all day!"

"No no no no no—"

"Surprise!"

"What-" A small voice said. Taehyung looked down at the boy. "Happy birthday Hyuntae." He said, Hyuntae smiling widely. Hyuntae giggled loudly. "Thank you!" He said, everyone coming up to greet him a 'happy birthday'. "Thank you Daddy! Dada!" He says, hugging Taehyung and then Jeongguk.

"You're welcome sweetheart." Taehyung said, hugging the small child back. "How about you go play with your friends for a little bit before we open presents and cut the cake. Alright?" Hyuntae nodded, smiling widely. He looked like the happiest boy on the planet at the moment. "Okay daddy!" He says, before running off to play with the other small children that were invited.

Taehyung smiled, and then looked at Jeongguk. He noticed the other was staring at him. Taehyung raised an eyebrow, before wrapping his arms around Jeongguk's neck and pecking his lips. "Thank you for helping me." He said. Jeongguk chuckled deeply, rubbing Taehyung's back gently. "Of course love. I know how important Hyuntae is to you. He has to have the biggest parties." Jeongguk hums, and Taehyung smiles. "I'm glad you think so. It's been a while since he's had a big party like this. It was usually just him and I. I'm grateful, gguk." Taehyung speaks softly, keeping the conversation between them.

Jeongguk hum, gently kissing Taehyung. "I know." He says, before wrapping his arm around Taehyung's waist and bringing him over to the island in the kitchen. "Let's get his presents ready." Jeongguk says, Taehyung nodding in agreement and started to grab all of the presents from the island and taking them over to the living room, Jeongguk doing the same. "We'll do the presents after everyone eats. Then we do cake, and then we let them have fun." Taehyung says, having everything planned out. He wanted everything to go perfect for his son. Nothing could be ruined.

Jeongguk nodded, humming softly. "Of course, baby." He says, placing the last of the presents in the living room. "Foods ready!" Jimin called, smiling when the guests started to go outside for food. "Let's get some food too." Jeongguk says, pulling Taehyung outside. Taehyung smiled, nodding. He looked around for Hyuntae and called him over. "Baby, time to eat!" He said, and Hyuntae instantly came running over. "Okay! I wan'—" "A hot dog cut up into  6 pieces with mac and cheese, and potato salad." Taehyung says, Hyuntae nodding and clapping with a giggle. "Wow! Daddy read my mind!" He says.

Taehyung smiles, ruffling his sons hair. "Go sit with your friends. I'll bring it over." He says, before Hyuntae runs off to the kid table where all the other kids were at. Soon, everyone got their food and ate while conversing. After everyone ate, it was time for presents.

"Alright everyone! Come inside and we'll do presents for the birthday boy!" Taehyung says, everyone slowly coming inside. Taehyung smiled, sitting Hyuntae in a chair, in front of everyone. "Alright baby, which one do you want to start with?" Taehyung asks, placing a few presents in front of him. Hyuntae thought for a moment.

"Hmmm....That one!" He said, pointing to the present to the left of Taehyung. "Good eye." He says, before placing it in front of Hyuntae. Hyuntae happily opened it, and gasped when he saw it. "Awesome!!! A basket ball hoop!!" He says, happily. Of course it wasn't a big basketball hoop, it was one of those small ones with the net at the bottom.

Taehyung smiled, moving some hair out of his son's face. "Alright baby..what is next?" Taehyung asked, and soon they were done opening presents. Hyuntae got a lot of things. A bike, the hoop, some candy, some books, some robot toys, clothes, and shoes, and etc. Hyuntae was happy with it.

"Time for cake!" Taehyung yelled, bringing the cake over to Hyuntae. Six candles ontop, lit up. "Happy birthday to you~" Everyone started to sing. "Happy birthday Hyuntae~ Happy birthday to you!"

Hyuntae giggles, before closing his eyes and making a wish. He then blew out the candles. Taehyung smiled softly, his son was growing up so fast.

Taehyung cut the cake, making sure everyone got a slice. Hyuntae getting the first slice, of course. Everyone enjoyed the cake, and soon it was time for the party to end. Thankfully, Hyuntae was tired out and he would fall asleep fast. Jimin, Yoongi, and Jeongguk helped to clean things up while Taehyung took Hyuntae for a bath and get him to sleep. It wasn't hard for Hyuntae to sleep, so when he did fall asleep, Taehyung went down to help clean up.

After that, everyone went to bed. It was a fun, but tiring day. Something worth making memories of.
