Taehyung looked at the clock, Jeongguk had two minutes left and if he was late then Taehyung would cancel the date. He would continue looking at the clock as time passed by. Taehyung got ready to text Jeongguk, before he heard the doorbell and he smirked slightly. "Three seconds left." He mumbles to himself before grabbing Hyuntae's hand. Surprise.
He walked to the door with his son, opening it. "Before you say anything, I'm not late and here I got you-" He pauses, noticing the tiny child that hid behind his daddy's leg. Jeongguk kneels down, smiling softly. "Hi little guy, I'm Jeongguk." He says, holding out his hand. Hyuntae looks at Jeongguk and then looks at Taehyung before Taehyung nods, and Hyuntae comes out from behind his daddy's leg and puts his small hand in the others.
"Hi Jeonkook." Hyuntae says, smiling widely. Jeongguk chuckles at the pronunciation. "Jeon- Gguk." Jeongguk says, adding emphasis to the 'gguk'. Hyuntae just shrugs slightly. "I'm Hyuntae." The boy smiles small. "Well, It's nice to meet you Hyuntae." And Jeongguk stands back up. He didn't ask any questions about who the boy was. "Is he coming with us?" Jeongguk asks and Taehyung nods.
"Yeah, Yoongi and Jimin went on their own date and I don't trust anyone to watch Hyunnie." Taehyung mumbles, holding his son's hand. Jeongguk nods in understandment. "Alright. Do you need a booster seat for him? Do you have one? I could buy one on the way." Jeongguk says. Taehyung quickly shakes his head. "No-No. I have one. Thanks though." Taehyung says.
"I'll put it in for you." Jeongguk says and Taehyung smiles softly. "If you insist." He says, letting Jeongguk inside and showing him where the booster seat is. "Thanks." Taehyung says, and follows Jeongguk to his car. He made sure the door was locked and he was holding Hyuntae's hand. He waited for Jeongguk to put the seat in, and Taehyung our Hyuntae in the seat, buckling him in. He kissed his forehead and smiled softly at him before shutting the door and getting in the car.
Jeongguk got in the drivers seat, and buckled himself and looked at Taehyung to make sure he was buckled and then looked at Hyuntae just in case. Then, he drove off to the restaurant he made a reservation for. He originally made it for two, but it's going to have to be changed to three instead.
Soon, they got to the restaurant and Taehyung looked at it in awe. It was so beautiful, the most beautiful restaurant he's ever seen. Jeongguk smirked slightly, before getting out of the car and going to get Hyuntae out. Taehyung also got out, smiling softly at how accepting Jeongguk was of his son. He honestly didn't think he would accept Hyuntae, but he's glad he does.
Jeongguk held Hyuntae in his arms, grabbing Taehyung's hand. "Let's go."
Maybe this wouldn't be as bad as Taehyung thought.
