Chapter 10

"Daddy! I want this!" Hyuntae says, sitting in the high chair that the restaurant provided. He pointed to the food that look yummy to him, which was mac and cheese. "Hmm. That looks very yummy, baby. I'll get it for you. Okay?" Taehyung says, smiling and taking the kid's menu and flipping it over. "Here, now color this. Okay?" He says, handing Hyuntae a crayon. Hyuntae nods, starting to color the kid's menu. He liked how they provided crayons, and how the menu was paper and had a bunch of kid activities on it. It was cute.

"What're you getting?" Jeongguk asks, looking at Taehyung as he closed his menu. "Japchae." Taehyung answered quickly, before humming. "Daddy also gets that! Get something else daddy!" Hyuntae huffs, crossing his arms with a little pout on his cute face. Taehyung chuckles, shaking his head. "So do you. Do I have to point out that you only get American food?" Taehyung asks, tilting his head and Hyuntae pouts even more, bringing his small finger up to his lips. "Shhh! Don't tell!" Hyuntae yells, and Taehyung smiles softly.

Jeongguk stayed quiet, watching the father-son interaction. It was cute, he had to admit. Maybe not to their faces but, mentally instead. "We're ready to order." Jeongguk said to the waiter who had started walking to them. The waiter nods, grabbing his pen and paper pad. "What can I get ya?" He asks, and Jeongguk looks at Taehyung, letting him go first. Taehyung smiles softly, telling the waiter what his son wanted and then what he wanted. Then, Jeongguk tells the waiter what he wants.

"It'll be ready in no time." The waiter says, walking away. The two didn't really talk about anything, Taehyung just watched his son color and draw on the menu, while Jeongguk watched Taehyung with a fond smile on his face. He's never really felt this way before, only having flings instead of actual relationship's. Soon, the food came. The waited set the food down, smiling and telling them to enjoy their order, then left.

Taehyung hummed, feeding Hyuntae and then also feeding himself as well. He and Jeongguk just started talking about each other's lives, interesting things that happened and funny things. After about an hour, it was time that Jeongguk would take the two home. Jeongguk paid, with Taehyung protesting but eventually giving in. Taehyung buckled Hyuntae into the car seat, and then got into the car as well. He buckled himself up, as soon as they were ready Jeongguk drove off, heading to Taehyung's house.

They soon got there, Jeongguk helping and getting Hyuntae out. He carried the small boy in his arms, smiling at Taehyung when they went to the door. Taehyung took his son, smiling at Jeongguk. "Thank you." He says. "I'd like to do this again." Taehyung says, giving Jeongguk a kiss on the cheek before going inside. Jeongguk blinked, before a grin appears on his face and he basically just dances his way to his car.

"Mission accomplished."
