Meeting with Parliament!

Logan's Point of View!
Next day!

I'm truly stressed out. Today our family has been called upon by Parliament. I, My grandmother, My Father, and My brother. It's no reason to call upon my mother because She's not in line for rank. I helped my grandmother sit in her seat in Parliament and the meeting began. " We have to know what's going to happen. I'm aware you're sick and you have to give up your full title of Queen to someone who will it be " One of the chairmen asked? " I am aware of what I must do. We have come to a halt on this right now as a family " My grandmother explained. " Care to explain, " The chairmen asked? " I am not so sure my son Lord Henry will be a fit King for our sweet country," My grandmother said. " Mother you're calling me out in front of Parliament," My father said upset. " Why do you feel like that Queen Lizzie, " The chairmen asked? " My son doesn't look at England the way I know someone else will. My son won't make things better for all people he will only make them better for some people and I'm afraid I just can't hand my Kingdom over to someone like that. I love my son dearly. I just know he's not the right fit " My grandmother spoke. 

 " So who are you trying to put in the position Prince Aaron, " The chairmen asked? My brother stood up with a smile. " No Princess Logan. I know she will run the kingdom the way I did If not better. I know our people will be happy and honored " My grandmother said. " Excuse me. Logan cant be Princess it has to be the next in line " My father spoke upset. " Actually the rules state that any member of the royal family can be the next heir as long as He/She has the approval of the King and/or Queen and she does " My grandmother stated. " Grandmother are you serious? I've been training for this since I was in diapers. I know everything there is to know.  I've worked my butt off to get my title as King and now It's being taken from under me " Aaron asked upset.     " I'm sorry Aaron but you're not fit to be King I'm sorry, " My grandmother said.  " And she is " Aaron exclaimed.  " Enough.  You guys figure this out and we will be back for it tomorrow with your final decision Queen Lizzy.  We have to have the coronation before anything happens to you.  We can't leave the Kingdom like this " The chairmen said.  We all walked out.  You could tell there's tension as everyone wrapped up and left.

I went and sat in the living room waiting for everyone to leave with my grandma.  " You completely blindsided me with that " My father said coming in furious.  " Son it's nothing personal to you or Aaron I just know what's right for my country and I think it's best.  I have the right to decide who runs England and I don't think it's you.   I'm sorry " My grandmother said.  " It's definitely not Logan.  She doesn't even act like royalty most of the time.  She'll send England directly into the ground.  I won't stand for this and I won't allow it " My father said.  " With all due respect, Logan doesn't even know what it takes to be a Princess let alone Queen.  She acts like a commoner and has disappointed the family on numerous occasions and she doesn't even want to be Queen.  She has said it herself " Aaron said upset.  " Logan is down to earth and understands that not everything is about money or power," My grandmother said.  " Logan will be a train wreck waiting to happen, " My father said.

" You know what, the only reason why you're fighting for England is that you want to be a dictator.  If Gran Gran hands England over to you there will be an entire political crash that we will have to clear up for generations.  Aaron just wants to be King so he doesn't disappoint you.  It's not truly what he wants. I'm sure he wants to be royal but he doesn't want to deal with the tuff part of it. I actually care about everyone in England and I want to help everyone in England not just the royals.  The changes you've made thus far have made the poor poorer and hurt more people than help.  People are angry.  I see it every day.  The streets are falling apart.  The violence is increasing because they have nothing nice so why try to fix anything.  We have all that money laying around and no one willing to use it to fix things.  More community centers for the kids.  More Homeless shelters for the homeless more royals out there actually helping instead of sitting on thrones looking down on people because they have less.  It's time to actually make a change and not talk about it.  I would do that for England.  You wouldn't " I said finally. 

" And this is why I know she'll be the next best thing for England.  Fresh eyes and ears and someone who knows and has seen, heard, and listen to what needs to be done.  It's not up for debate son.  You're out and I will see to it before I die that Princess Logan Laurice Williams is our new Queen" My grandmother explained.  " She will never have the approval of the board, " My father said.  " She has the approval of the Queen.  The board has no say " My grandmother said as I helped her stand up to leave.  We left out the house and drove back to my house.  When we arrived Luke and Izzy were standing outside.  My grandma smiled as I helped her out of the car.  " Hi, beautiful " Luke said grabbing my grandma's hands and walking her into the house.  Luke went to wash his hands with Izzy as I helped my grandma wash her hands.   We walked back into the Livingroom seeing Luke and Izzy sitting on the couch.  " Hi, Luke it's good to see you again," My grandma said sitting next to him.  " Hi Queen Lizzy, How are you feeling, " Luke asked?  " Tired.  Is this your daughter " My grandma asked referring to Izzy?  " Yes.  This is Isabella " Luke said smiling.  My grandma sat and talked to Isabella as I walked into the kitchen.  My head was everywhere and I honestly don't know how to feel about anything anymore. 

I do want to be Queen because I know I can make some amazing changes to England and I will make things better for everyone, not just royals but on the same hand, I'm not sure I'm willing to give up this carefree lifestyle I have now.  I looked up and saw my grandma and playing with Izzy and smiled.  I looked over and saw Luke walking over to me.  " Are you okay babe?" Luke asked?  "Just thinking about some things.  I'll be okay " I said walking away from him.  Luke grabbed me and pulled me into the biggest hug ever.  I sighed smiling.  Luke is everything I needed at this moment.  He held me so tight and I held back.  All the thoughts ad problems of today just went completely out of my mind and I truly began to melt away.  " I love you," I said pushing my head into his chest.  " I love you more princess " Luke said causing me to smile.   We all sat back ad relaxed for the rest of the day. I put my grandma to sleep and we prepared for the next day.
