Logan's Point of View!

I woke to Luke's warm embrace.  I smiled as I looked up to see him already looking at me. 

" Were you watching me sleep, " I asked.

" Yeah,  I just got back from taking Izzy to school," Luke said.  

" What do you have to do today," I asked sitting up. 

" I have to check on the progress with one of your buildings and get some paperwork drawn up.  I also have to go check on this situation with Pee-Wee and Jo-Jo " Luke said sighing and walking to the dresser 

" I am sorry Luke but do you think it's a good idea to involve yourself in that right now, " I asked.

" What am I supposed to do?  They were like brothers to me Logan.  How could you ask me something like that " Luke said turning around and looking at me.  

" Baby I am not being inconsiderate I am worried.  We have a lot riding right now and I don't want any drama before the press release.  Not to mention I know you hothead and I know the minute you're upset you don't think, you do " I said.

" Logan I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize us or our family.  This is also family though.  I have to make sure they're straight " Luke said.  

" Okay I'll take your gun," I said holding out my hand just as Luke was going to put it on his hip. 

" Logan I need my gun for my protection even still.  I am in Brixton " Luke said.

" If you're not going for any drama you don't need your gun.  I will be taking it " I said grabbing it and putting it in my bookbag in the closet. Luke shook his head.

" I need all of Izzy's Information.  Birth certificates things like that if I get her registered for everything.  I have a lot to get done, Luke.  You want the wedding in five months " I said. 

" No you want the wedding in five months I want it today, " Luke said starting to look for Izzy's paperwork.

" Just get me her information Luke I am not kidding.  We need to get this done.  Also last night she asked me if she could call me mom " I said.  

" What did you say, " Luke asked turning around.  

" I told her we need to talk to you about it.  I don't want her to feel I am replacing her mom " I said. 

" Logan, she doesn't even know her mom, how can you think she would feel that way?  It doesn't affect me.  You decide if she will start calling you mom " Luke said.  

" This is a family decision, Luke.  I know nothing about being a mom.  This isn't my life " I said without thinking. 

" Logan, if you don't want to be a part of this then don't, " Luke said walking out. 

" Luke that's not what I meant," I said before I heard the door downstairs slam shut.  

I sighed as I walked to take a shower.  I took my shower, got dressed, and then headed to do all the errands I needed to be done today.  I also had lunch to go to with Michael.  I have a lot to get done before lunch.  As I went through the motions of everything that needed to be done before lunch.  I got Izzy sighed up for school.  She will start just after Winter break which is right after the wedding.  I signed her up for Princess classes which she will start immediately.  Got some brochures for some other things she can do like soccer, tennis, etc.  She has to have a wide variety of clubs to take over and I would love for her to participate in as much as she can.  

At lunch, Michael and I talked about the upcoming changes.  Some bills we needed to disgust passing and a whole bunch of other things that needed to be taken care of immediately.  After that, we talked about how each other was doing and then left so I could go pick up Izzy from school.  After picking Izzy up we went home.  I did some light cleaning of Luke's house and then made us dinner.  After that Izzy and I watched movies until I put her to bed and waited on Luke to get home.  Around two in the morning, I was asleep on the couch when Luke walked in with Joey and Adonis they had been drinking.  When they saw me they stopped.

" Logan I am sorry we didn't mean to wake you, " Luke said.  

" It's two in the morning and you're walking in the house drunk with no form of communication all day.  Do you think that you waking me is going to upset me " I asked? 

" We will go into the kitchen.  Sorry for waking you sis " Adonis said hugging me as Joey followed suit and then they went to the kitchen.  

" I didn't text you or call you because this is not your life and I don't want to burden you with problems that don't affect you, " Luke said throwing my statement from yesterday morning in my face. 

" Are you serious right now? I didn't mean it like that and you've said plenty of hurtful things to me and I don't use it against you when I should.  You left me to worry about you all day with no call or text.  I took care of everything that needed to be done for Izzy by myself and you never cared to check on me " I said looking at him. 

" Go upstairs.  I have nothing else to say about this " Luke said. 

"You're serious right now?  Why are you acting like this?  Is it because of Pee-Wee and Jo-Jo " I asked.

" Go upstairs, Logan.  It has nothing to do with you " Luke said. 

" Why are you being so childish, " I asked upset.

" Go Logan " Luke yelled slamming his hand down causing me to jump.  

" Luke relax.  That's not right " Joey said stepping out of the kitchen with Adonis. 

" Is this really what we are building a marriage on? " I asked looking at him.  

" The way it's going there probably won't be a wedding," Luke said causing me to stop in my tracks.  

" Luke go cool off.  You're tripping " Adonis said. 

" I guess you're right.  I am going home.  I'm not going to let you belittle me anymore tonight.  Have a nice one Luke " I said going upstairs to get my things.  When I came back down Joey and Adonis were talking to Luke.  

" Sis don't leave he will cool off.  We all got a little too drunk tonight.  He didn't mean it " Joey said.  

" Have a nice night guys " I said walking to the door and grabbing my keys.  

I walked out the door with Adonis watching me to my car.  When I got in I pulled off immediately and drove to Michael's.  I didn't want to be home.  I didn't want to be alone.  I wanted to cry and have a friend's shoulder to cry on.  When I got to Michael's he let me in and I just cried giving him the whole story.  I stayed up the rest of the night talking to Michael.  We went to bed around 8 AM.  I was going to sleep in today and go check on my projects later.  I am too tired to do anything.
