Later that Day!

I woke to Michael waking me.  When I looked up at him, He told me to get up and then left out of the room.  I went to take a shower and changed into some clothes I had over here.  Before you get crazy Michael lives in the palace, we all used to live in.  We keep clothes and things over here just so when we all plan nights together this is where we will go.  I changed into my clothes and went down to the dining room where Michael was reading the newspaper and eating.  

" How are you feeling," Michael asked.

" Like I want to sleep the day away," I said putting my head on the table. 

"It's three in the afternoon and we have projects to check on.  You can't sleep the day away.  It's time to face the music.  Plus, Luke has been calling Aaron and I's phone up all morning so get your life together and fix this.  He was drunk.  We have all said our fair share of craziness when we were drunk.  Like that one night," Michael said reminding me of my drunken nights. 

" Fine but I am not ready to talk to him, " I said looking at him.  

" You don't have to but if you guys' plan on getting married this isn't healthy," Michael said just as my food got placed in front of me.  

I ate and then we left to check on our projects.  I checked on the community center and the rebuilding of certain buildings and businesses and Michael checked on the parks and women's shelters.  I got to my last project of the day and when I walked in, I realized the construction workers were wrapping up for the night.  I got a report from one of the other guys in charge besides Luke and he gave me an ETA on expected timing when finished.  While we were talking Luke walked out from the back. 

" The guys are leaving for the day, " Luke said, and when he saw me, his face turned from relaxed to pissed.  

" I was just giving Queen Logan a report " The guy explained feeling the tension in the room.  

" You head home I will finish the report, " Luke said looking at me.  

" No need Mr. James.  I got everything I need.  I hope you guys have a great day " I said Walking away.  I got to my car just before Luke headed out of the building.  I pulled off heading to my house.  Luke called me three times since I was driving.  On the fourth call, I finally decided to answer.

Logan: What Luke?
Luke: No, I don't want to hear that shit right now.  We argue and you completely disappear on me. 
Logan: well excuse me if I don't want to be your punching bag anymore Luke.  You completely disrespected me, and I will not except it anymore.  The wedding is off, goodbye Luke.
I hung up. 

Luke called and called but i completely ignored it and blocked him.  I didn't go home.  I went to my mom's.  I didn't tell her what was wrong.  I didn't tell anyone.  I simply just told her I missed her and then spent some time with her.  Luke could wait.  The world could wait.  I needed a few days away.  I made sure my mom didn't let anyone know I was here.  The next few days was spent with my mom just having some girl time.  Luke would be fine without me.  I cut my phone off and shut the world out. After making sure to send Aaron a message that I need him to take over for me for a few days. I couldn't deal with it anymore.  The next few days would be about me and my mom.  I love Luke but I love myself more.  He gets drunk and decides to be a jerk and it's not fair to me.  He belittled me in front of his friends.  Is he serious.  Thats so annoying.
