Kelly POV
I was feeling lonely and Beyonce won’t talk to me unless it's specifically about business, so I called Michelle and we decided to go out for lunch.
“How are you and Bey?”
“Michelle, I don’t know what to do. She won’t talk to me. She won’t even look at me.”
“It’s your fault. Ain’t nobody tell you to go have sex with Trey. You don’t even like him, let alone his penis, or any other penis for that matter. This is your fault, witcho petty ass.”
“You’re supposed to be helping me, not giving me a lecture.”
“That wasn’t no lecture. If you want me to give you a lecture I can give you a lecture.”
“Michelle.”
“Alright alright.”
“What do I do?”
“Girl, I don’t know! She ain’t my girlfriend! You know her better than she knows herself, you should know how to fix this.”
“I’ve never cheated on her.”
“What you mean you never cheated on her? You got married and had a baby while y’all were still together.”
“Yeah but that’s different. Tim doesn’t count.”
“I just don’t understand. Y’all got the stupidest most complicated love life ever. It ain’t even that serious, just be gay. Don't nobody give a damn. Both of y’all need to get divorced.”
“Michelle, do you still go to church?”
“Yes!”
“Are you sure? Maybe you need to go to the altar on Sunday. You done backslid.”
“On the pastor.” She said sipping her drink.
“What you mean you backslid on the pastor? Michelle! Michelle noooo! You going straight to hell. Ya nasty ass. Is he married?”
“Bitch he might be.”
“Well that explains alot. You need to find an actual church.”
“I’m working on it.”
I shook my head at her. “You’re just as bad as we are.”
“Except I’m not married and I don’t have any children and I’m not gay.”
“You get on my nerves.”
“I know I do.”
“But really, what do I do about Bey?”
“I say give her time. She’ll come around, she always does. She can’t stay mad at you forever.”
“You don’t know her like I do. She can hold a grudge.”
“Not when it comes to you.”
“I love her Michelle. I really messed up.”
“Everything will be fine. Even if I have to play cupid.”
“Thank you.”
“Keep your thank you until y’all get back together. I’m sure it’s gonna get worse before it gets better.”
“What are you talking about?”
“I don’t know girl. But I gotta go.”
“You didn’t even eat the food.” I said pointing to the plate.
“Oh, I know. I’ll see you in a few days at the next meeting. Be on time.”
“Fuck you.”
