Bey POV
We haven't fully resolved the Isaiah issue, but according to him, he's not my child, therefore it is no longer my concern. Jay practically beat the boy half to death. Tough love. Anyways, we have our first interview today as a group in God knows how long. Even though Kelly and I haven't fully made up yet, we have been talking about how we wanted to handle this relationship thing. I plan on taking her to a celebrity club later today, but she doesn't know it yet. But as far as this interview goes, we don't know if we should answer questions or ignore everyone and just do us. We haven't made the decision yet, which doesn't really help since we're going on Wendy Williams Show today. And let me find out which mother fucker accepted that request. By the time I found out about it, it was too late to cancel. I'll just have a glass of wine before I go.
"Bey, you listening?" Michelle asked snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah. I heard you." I said removing myself from my trance.
"What did I say?" She asked.
"Uh, something about the single."
"Wrong!"
I shrugged my shoulders.
"She asked what we're going to say to Wendy about our relationship, Bey. You know what you want to do yet?"
"I still don't know. Who signed us up for this shit anyway? I don't fuck with Wendy, y'all know this. I'm not saying nothing to her but hello, yes I'm with Kelly, thank you for having us, and bye. That's it. She don't get nothing else from me."
"You a damn lie, the only person she wasn't to talk to is you since you've never been here before. You're her target and she's gonna have a lot of questions. Ones like why we were fucking around while we were still married. And why we're both still married now. And how this is gonna affect our children and album sells. And-"
"I get it, Kelly. Thanks."
"Well you still haven't given me an answer."
"Because I don't know Kelly!"
"Don't yell at me!"
"Well stop asking me all these damn questions!"
"Then stop acting ignorant like all this shit is going to go away. We're out. There is no gray area, Beyonce! We either tell them what's going on or we don't!"
"Ignorant!?"
"Is that all you heard!? Seriously?"
There was a knock at the door silencing us. I rolled my eyes and turned to open the door. "Yes?"
"The show starts in 20 minutes. We need to put microphones on each of you and make sure they work."
"Sure." I said smiling.
"Wait." Michelle said. "We'll be out in a few minutes, we have to pray first."
"Ok. Just keep in mind the time."
"20 minutes, I heard you. Thanks." Michelle said closing the door back. She turned to us and I could tell we were about to get an earful.
"Listen up you little lesbians, stop arguing. Bey, you need to apologize to Kelly for making her feel like her opinion was not valued." "But she-"
"I didn't ask a question. She wasn't in the wrong, you were. She was just being a concerned girlfriend. And Kelly, you need to apologize for being petty and picking fights because your feelings are hurt. We're about to make a come back and we don't need this drama."
"I didn't do anything wrong. She's the one who-"
Michelle put her hand over Kelly's mouth. "Kelly, you're really trying me. When I put my hand down I need you to apologize. Got it?" Kelly rolled her eyes but nodded.
