*Brook's POV*

I woke up surprisingly on my own for a change without a large noise in my ear, it was nice. I sat upright in my bed which I was pretty sure I didn't walk into on my own. Speaking of last night, I could even remember the end of the film we were watching or what film it was for that matter.

I walked into my bathroom and headed straight for the sink so that I could splash my face with some water to wake me up a bit. I accidentally knocked over the bottle of toothpaste that was on the side and figured that I may as well brush my teeth whilst I was there.

Walking back out into my room the clock caught my eye which stated that the time was 10.06 yet there was still no noise in the house, it was silent. I walked over to my wardrobe and pulled out my jogging clothes and shoes before putting them on. I figured that the house was this quiet because they were all still asleep, the perfect time to go for run.

I tied my hair up and picked my earphones up of the side, I tried to turn my phone on but found that it was dead so I decided to take my ipod with me instead. I tried to leave the house as quietly as I could before taking the usual route of my run. Today I felt like taking a longer route, I was in a good mood after all.

I put my ipod on shuffle before starting to run to Lyndon's house, I did my usual 10 minutes of running and 30 seconds of walking to make sure I wouldn't be too out of breath. I ran around the corner and down a few streets when I came across a line of 10 trees. I once ran down here and there were a group of kids riding in between them on their bikes, ever since then I had ran between these trees, I suppose I thought I would get bad luck if I didn't.

I passed Sam's house when I realised how thirsty I was and how I didn't have a drink so instead I decided to get one from Lyndon's house because I knew where he kept his key. I got there in about 45 minutes after I had left my own house and went straight around the back to use that door. I climbed up a short tree that was there where their key was tied to a branch. I untied it and tried to reach the ground with as little damaged caused as possible, but of course I had to scrape my arm on the way down.

I unlocked Lyndon's house and went straight for the medical supplies that were kept in the kitchen, I tried to look for a plaster big enough to cover my cut but had to use a bandage instead. I mean, we can't have me running whist blood is dripping down my arm, what would the neighbours think? I quickly got a bottle of water out the fridge and left his house, locking the door behind me. I looked up towards the top of the house and there was an open window on the first floor, I threw the key in there because there was no way I was climbing up that tree again.

I carried on with my run heading for the shops that were five minutes from my house, the same ones that me and Jack went to last night. As I approached the row of shops a slow song started to play on my ipod, I got it out my pocket and flicked through to find a song I could run to until I came into contact with a wall. Well, not quite a wall even though it felt like one, turns out it was just someone's back. The person that I had ran in to turned around about to say something when he noticed me. Coincidence?

"Hiya Jack, how you doing?" He offered me his hand and I took it, pulling me on to my feet.

"Well I definitely wasn't expecting that" he responded "I thought you were asleep" I was looking down at my arm which I'd just fallen on, I think the blood was starting to soak through so that it was visible.

"Nope, just went for a run, is it just you here?" Jack caught me looking at my arm and looked like he was about to question me about it.

"No there's Matty, Sam and Lynd aswell, we came to get us all a starbucks including you. What happened-" I cut him off desperate to finish my run and go for a shower.
