The month of September flew by rather quickly bringing October, turning me 16. Nothing happened. I had school that day, but Fred and George both promised to spoil me on our first trip to Hogsmeade.

Here I was one Thursday evening, sitting in a cold quidditch changing room on the edge of the field. I listened closely as Oliver discussed tactics for this coming new season.

"This is our last chance – my last chance – to win the Quidditch cup." He paced back and forth at the front of the room. "I'll be leaving at the end of this year. I'll never get another shot at it. Gryffindor haven't won for seven years now. Okay, so we've had the worst luck in the world – injuries, our chaser getting petrified, then the tournament getting called off last year..." he trailed off. "But we also know we've got the best ruddy team in the school. We've got the superb Chasers." He motioned to Angelina, Alicia and I.

I flipped my auburn hair over my shoulder. "Thanks, Oliver."

"We've got two unbeatable beaters."

"Stop it, Oliver, you're embarrassing us." Fred and George said in unison, pretending to blush.

I looked between the two and reached up to run my fingers through their growing hair. "You two are so beautiful."

"And we've got a Seeker who has never failed to win us a match!" Oliver glared at Harry with pride. "And me." He added as an afterthought.

"We think you're very good too, Oliver." George said.

"Cracking Keeper." Fred complimented.

I shrugged my shoulder. "Ehh, he's alright." Wood looked at me with wide eyes. "I'm kidding. You're the best Keeper ever.

"The point is." He continued. "The Quidditch Cup should have had our name on it these last two years. Ever since Harry and Fae joined the team, I've thought the thing was in the bag. But we haven't got it, and this year's the last chance we'll get to finally see our name on the thing..."

"Oliver." Fred spoke up. "This year's our year!"

I nodded my head. "We can do it, Oliver!"

"Definitely." Harry agreed.

"Great. Now, let's go practice, shall we?"

It went like that for three days a week. I didn't mind it. The cold or rain could never dampen my mood when it comes to Quidditch. One evening after training, I returned to the warm common room after a rainy practice. The whole room was buzzing with excitement.

"What's happened?" Harry asked Ron and Hermione, who sat by the fireplace.

"First Hogsmeade weekend." Ron answered. "End of October. Halloween."

"Yes!" I cheered. I love Halloween and especially loved it when I was able to leave the school. I mean, the twins and I do it all the time with the Marauders map, but we wait until the first trip so shop owners don't ask any questions.

"Excellent. I need to visit Zonko's, I'm nearly out of Stink Pellets." Fred said from behind me.

"Fae, Fred." George pulled us to the side. "I need to tell you both something."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "You pulled a prank on Snape, and got detention."

"What, no. I would never be happy about getting detention."

"Then spit it out, George." Fred urged.

The boy looked around the room to make sure no one was listening. "Angelina kissed me."

My eyes widen. "She what? Was it an accident? Was she under the Imperius Curse?"

"More importantly, did she cry after she realized what she did?" Fred asked. Oh, that was a good question.

"Wha-no! when we were done with practice, you two already put your brooms away and were heading back up here. Well, when I was putting my broom away, I heard Angelina and Alicia giggling. Next thing I know, I was being kissed!" he was so excited. It made me sick.

"Did-did you kiss back?" Why was I asking this question?

"CATCH THAT CAT!" yelled Ron.

I looked to the floor and saw Hermione's cat, Crookshanks run after Ron's rat, Scabbers. George lunged at the ginger cat but missed.

I laughed. "And that is why you are neither Seeker or Chaser."

I sat in bed, waiting for Angelina to come out of the bathroom. I had to make sure that kiss wasn't some sick joke or something. George has had a crush on her for the longest. If she did that just to tease him I'm gonna be pissed.

"Hey, Angelina?" I called out when she was finally out.

"What's up, Fae?" she climbed into her bed.

I scratched the back of my neck. How was I going to put this? "I, uh, heard something today from George..."

Her and Alicia giggled. I already don't like where this is going.

"Oh, really. What did you hear?" she quirked up an eyebrow.

"That you kissed him."

"Are you jealous?" Alicia asked.

"God, no. He's like my brother. I was just wondering why you did it?"

"It was just a little bet." Angelina waved me off. My blood started to boil. "It didn't mean anything. Alicia was joking around saying that if I kissed George, she would pay for the Butterbeers at the Three Broomsticks."

They have got to be joking. She did that all for a free butterbeer!

"I think she's jealous." Alicia whispered to Angelina.

I shook my head. "I told you I'm not jealous! George is like a brother to me, and I don't want to see his feelings hurt!"

"But what about Fred? You said nothing about him. Would you be acting this way if I kissed him?" Angelina tilted her head to the side and smirked.

"You know what, I'm done talking about this." I swung my legs over the edge of my bed and let my feet come in contact with the cold floor. "I hope you two have nightmares tonight." I slammed the dormitory door behind me, and made my way to the twins room. I rapped my knuckles on the wood three times.

"Who is it?" someone asked from inside.

"It's Fae. Can I come in?"

The door swung open, reveling Fred. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I just don't want to stay in the same room as my roommates. Can I sleep here?"

He looked at everyone else already sleeping. "Yeah, you can sleep in my bed." he stepped back and let me inside.

"Thank you." I walked over to his bed and climbed in. he crouched down on the floor. "Get up here, you lunatic. This bed is big enough for the both of us."

"Are you sure?" he stood back up and sat on the edge of his bed.

"You, George, and I all slept in a bed the day before we came back to Hogwarts. I'll be fine."

"If you insist." He pulled the curtains closed, so I could have some privacy, and we both drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
