XXII- Surprise

The woman had long, light brown hair with green eyes which was just like Luca's which made me narrow my eyes then I turned to the man. He had a scar on his neck and looked really mean with the frown he was holding. He had dark brown hair like Luca's and I had to shake my head slightly to stop thinking about him. I was afraid to greet them.

"Hello, I'm C-Cassia." Where did that come from? I never stutter, ever but they looked too intimidating. I was scared that I looked too fragile because then they'd stomp on me and bash my personality to looks as much as they could. That's how my father's partners are.

"Nice to meet you Cassia, I'm Arabella." The lady smiled at me amusedly, almost as if she was mocking me but I don't think her smile held that meaning behind it. She raised an eyebrow at my hand stuck midway in the air and gently pushed it away to give me a sideways hug. Did she smell really good, like jasmine?

The man nodded his head at me and walked towards the living room, where Kylie was leading them and I had completely lost my breath. The two, tall and handsome set of boys walking inside did not help my situation. They looked about the same height and their features looked alike, although their hair and eye color were different.

One of them had dark brown, almost black hair with brown eyes while the other had golden-brown hair and green eyes. I took a step back when they smiled at me, how are they all that masculine and terrifying. They were so intimidating!

"I'm Lucian and this is Darius." The guy in the front with dark hair said as I was almost sure that I was dead. My lungs forgot to breathe and inhale for oxygen. I took a deep breath as I shook their hands and both of them gave me a small smile before walking inside.

I was going to close the door shut but a leg was in between the doorway the next second. "Oh-... Sorry." I was actually thinking that I was dead or in a coma and dreaming when the familiar, gorgeous boy stood in front of me. "Luca!" I whisper yelled.

He didn't have the nerd look on. I was so glad that Kylie never actually met Luca in any way, not the nerdy or bad boy Luca. So she wouldn't be able to snitch to anyone. "Hello, Floare. You look beautiful." He said as he eyed me. He didn't make me uncomfortable, it actually made me feel like he was admiring me. It made my tummy turn.

"W-what?" What's with the stuttering?! He gave me a warm smile and checked behind me before pulling me by the waist and gave my cheek a warm kiss which had me swooning again. I was in my wonderland Luca created for me, my mind dazed and I was trembling.

He let me go the next second so I could walk back next to my parents.

It all makes so much sense.

Luca got rid of the guy by making his parents offer more to me and replaced him. I knew he obviously didn't want to be married to me but by doing this he removed all of the threats.

Now I could see him freely without sneaking out. He could come in and out of my house without a single problem.

Besides Kylie but she's hardly ever here.

Also, he saved me, again.

I walked as I held my chest because I couldn't breathe properly. "That's your mother?" I asked with widened eyes and a parted mouth. Luca laughed as he sat down next to me at the table and Kylie was glaring at Luca and his brothers.

Oh my god, I just met Luca's brothers and they look like they jumped out of a teenage girl's dream.

Except for Lucian. Lucian looked so intimidating and I had a feeling that he wanted to be that way.

I rested my head in my hands at the table and forgot that everyone around me was talking to each other. I heard a laugh from beside me and dropped my hands. Luca was looking at me very amusedly and I leaned back next to him.
