Luca's POV

I left early this morning so Cassia would still be asleep. Not that I didn't want to tell her that I'm leaving, it's just if she finds out what my job is I'll be in deep shit.

"You want me to go visit her?" Alexandra came next to me with a small pout forming in her expression as I grabbed what I needed from the table. Me, Lucian, my parents, and Elias were the only ones leaving today. I shook my head quickly before checking my ammo as she rolled her eyes. "Well if you keep thinking about her then you won't be able to focus. It's your choice." She raised her hands in the air and I pulled my bottom lip back annoyedly.

"I'm going to focus extra hard to get back to her in one piece, Alexandra," I explained before checking the plan once more. We connected the dots together about where the warehouse could be since my father has found it once before. He knew how sneaky Lorenzo was so he gave us an eight-hour lecture.

"Ready?" Lucian threw his sunglasses on the desk before watching me with a bored expression. He just wanted to get it over with. I nodded before following behind him to the car.

"Don't do something stupid!" Alexandra yelled behind us as we walked out. I opened the passenger seat in a hurry before getting inside Lucian's car.

"You got the color I suggested," I mumbled as I looked at the new car.

"Plans pretty simple. If you know his place text me or just talk to the earbud so you can go back to your girl in one piece." I narrowed my eyes as I watched him speak bitterly. I know I'm not going to be putting salt into his scars again. He'll actually put me in the hospital this time.

"What is it with you?" I looked up at him once more which he raised one eyebrow at.

'Don't push it.' That is what the look told me.

I and Lucian were entering the warehouse from the backside while the others were sneaking in from the front. "I'll take the left side," I said but Lucian gripped my arm before I could bolt away.

"I always take the left side." I rolled my eyes at him and ripped away from his grasp. "Luca, I'll fucking throw you across the hallway as bait. Remember get help from the Thor movie? Move back if you don't want to recreate it." I chuckled slightly as he walked in front of me and didn't look back.

"Alright then." I walked to the opposite way and heard whimpers from inside a room. I hesitantly looked inside and saw a few of our crudes trying to get each other back up. I kicked the door open and threw my first aid to the skinny kid next to the injured guy. There were four people in the room.

I'll just leave the skinny one here and get the other two as a backup.

"You two, follow me." I pointed at them before walking out and heard their fast steps follow behind me.

"Boss, Alexandra's trying to get ahold of you." I narrowed my eyes as I stopped in my tracks.

I got the phone they handed out to me.

Alexandra knows I'm on a mission, she would never call me.

Unless if it was a deadly situation.

"What?" I gripped the phone in my hand as I tried to clear my head from the ugly thoughts. I heard a small inhale in the other end before she started speaking.

"Cassia's gone with her phone in the ground. It was at the doorway and it... It looks like she'd been dragged downstairs..." I licked my lips before my breath completely left me. I inhaled deeply to keep my composure.
