"Kai ants are walking in your jeans." Caleb patted off Kai's jeans and I shot up from Luca's chest. Bugs? Ew. I looked at the ground and saw ants next to Luca's jacket which he placed on the ground before sitting on top of it.
"They're in my hand. What do I do? Throw them away? Kai! Look they're hugging!" Caleb said excitedly and slightly jumped.
"Cassia wait here. I'm going to grab you something to eat." Luca said with a sigh as he pushed me off so now I was sitting in his place. I nodded and showed him a thumbs up. He smiled at me before leaving.
"Kai, I think this is more than just hugging," Caleb said with widened eyes and now his mouth was gaping open. "Kaison, say something." Caleb nudged his brother and Evan laughed.
"I'm not googling ant porn for you," Kai said as he moved away.
"Wait, make them get married first," I suggested and Caleb nodded aggressively. "Here, you'll be the male ant," I spoke up again. Caleb narrowed his eyes as he watched me. Then he shook his head and gathered the ants in his palm.
"What if they're gay?" I rolled my eyes at him and grabbed one in my palm. "Okay then, I as the gay ant take you to be my wif-..." He started off again but the next second Luca slapped away the ant in my hand and I widened my eyes at him.
"You... Killed it." I breathed out and he moved me on top of him again. He tossed me a water bottle and a bag of chips. "What if it had a family, Luca-..." He rolled his eyes at me and made me drink the water so I'd sober up.
"I don't give a shit, Cassia. We need to leave and your father will notice you being drunk. Do you want that?" He asked like he was talking to a child. I shook my head and he nodded at me as I dug into the chips. He smiled at me softly as I stuffed my face and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"I'm aware that Rosetti took you out on a date but I don't appreciate you skipping school, Cassia. Don't let it happen again." My father said after I made my way back to the off. Luca dropped me off at the entrance and I'm just finding out that his last name is Rosetti.
"I understand," I said as I glared at Kylie. She was watching me with pure disgust and annoyance. If she thinks it still affects me, she would be way too off. I genuinely could not care less.
She's suspicious of how sudden Luca came into our lives and it surprised me that she was that observant with that lack of intelligence. I don't understand how my father could take a complete stranger's deal and sell me away in seconds either. It's almost as if this is the only reason why he wanted to have me.
I'm beginning to genuinely worry about Luca's family. It concerns me that he dodged every question I ask. The drive to the mansion was about four to five hours. I was about to drift asleep when my phone vibrated. I opened it quickly to see if it's anything important.
Luca: I have a job. I'll probably be there late, Floare. I'm taking you out tonight.
I was too scared to ask about the job because I know I'm not going to like the answer I get. Also, it's going to really annoy me when he says I should stop asking about it.
Cassia: Alright Luca. I'm getting really annoyed about this 'job'
Am I talking like his mother now? Should I have said that or should I just try deleting what I sent?
Luca: Dress comfortably.
He just completely ignored me.
Could be worse.
